I think I need baby updates
I need some baby updates in my life....how are the LO's doing? Momma's-to-be...how are you doing?
Re: I think I need baby updates
Pictures are greatly appreciated too.
I don't have time to get the pictures uploaded but Miss Madeline is finally walking without holding on to things more than a step or two. She still doesn't venture very far from the furniture but she's walking!!
Here's a video from yesterday of her swinging in my moms backyard

I will do a photo later this week for HDBD maybe. Or for a poll on Thurs before the anatomy scan on Friday.
We are excited to see LO on Friday and make sure all the organs are developing and everything looks good. If baby cooperates we will also find out if we're having a boy or a girl! Then we can start fighting about names. hah!
Here is a pic from last week on our babymoon- 24 weeks. I was kind of yelling at DH to hurry up and take the picture ... so I think I look funny. I've started feeling her move a bit more frequently which has been fun!
Dylan is doing great! His excema is finally clearing up. I wish I had some newer pictures to post, but I have been really bad with taking pictures lately. I need to start taking more. Anyway, Dylan just amazes me everyday with how he puts things together, he hears a lawn mower or something and instantly says "da da", or I ask him to put something away and he puts it exactly where he found it whether in a drawer or cabinet. It's just amazing to watch him grow. This is such a fun age because he is just doing so much. I promise to get some picture up soon. I need to take some!!
First off, how are you 24 weeks already?!
Secondly, the picture looks great!
Nothing new here. C has an appt today, I think the last of the 3 week ones (she's supposed to be on a 2 week schedule, but our doc was on vacation last week and said 3 would be ok). I need to email her the list of questions I've randomly sprouted off this past week for the appointment since I can't make it. Honestly, I have heart palpitations each time until she texts me. There's so little outside movement with the anterior placentas (increasing but not super consistent, but i know she feels them a lot) and I spend a lot of time listening to her belly playing "gas or baby"
It'll be nice to "see" them and know all is well. She got her first belly stretch mark Sunday.
I love getting to participate in these
I'm feeling good. Officially in 2nd trimester today! We got the results from our NT scan/bloodwork on Friday and things are perfect - can't ask for better results than 1 in 10,000 odds for Downs and Tri 18! I also tested as a carrier for CF, so they had to test Tim, we got those results as well and he is NOT a carrier, which was more great news.
I bought maternity clothes this weekend - the jeans are HEAVEN. It's like wearing sweatpants.
New bump pic tonight or tomorrow
Ok twist my arm....
Brynn is great but super snotty the last couple days.... both literally and figuratively. She has tooth # 8 coming through and her nose will not stop running! haha. She turned 11 months yesterday and blew my mind.
Jeff handed her a toy yesterday morning and she looked up and said Thank You. It wasn't the clearest thing in the whole world but there is no doubt that she said it. She also says Hi, doggy (sounds like daggy) dada and mama. Every time Jeff walks in the room she shrieks and yells hi da. I crack up all the time. She is walking like crazy. She probably goes 10 -15 feet before she remembers that it is faster for her to crawl. I bought her some shoes yesterday to wear when we go to the zoo on Wednesday and she wouldn't take a step in them. Soooo funny. She also now stands in the middle of the room and "dances" She will dance when you ask her to and knows where my nose is. I LOVE watching her learn all these new things. I'm so amazed every day!
Oh and she seriously cracks me up we do this thing where I hold her facing me (like in a hug) and I count to 3 and we go down (so she goes backwards) and she laughs every time. Now she randomly tips her head back at the weirdest times.
Here are two of her 11 month pics I took yesterday.
and a funny face....
Amanda- How about a Brody update?
She is too cute, Paige!
Magda- You look fabulous.
Like Paige, you don't have to twist my arm... Mariela is a 14 month old whirling dirvish these days. We got her a play kitchen this weekend and everytime she sees it in the kitchen she gets so excited all over again like she never saw it before. There is a little phone on it and she is in love with it and carries it everywhere pretending to chatter on it. She also "cooks" me stuff and lets me taste it. She has gotten a bit of a temper and tells us "NO!" and I must tell her to wait one minute a lot because now she tells me to wait "a minute" if she wants to stop doing something or is bored with what we are doing. It's almost like she wants to be done with the task at hand in "a minute".
She said her first full sentence yesterday clear as day. Alexi and I both heard it! She was putting her straw in her juice box and got it in the hole and said, "I did it!". She understands simple commands in both Spanish and English which just amazes me that she comprehends both already. And she speaks her form of Spanglish...some Spanish words and some English words. My in-laws took great delight in teaching her to say "Oh my gosh" in Spanish yesterday. It's kind of the PR slang for it, but it's said "Aye, virjin!". She doesn't just walk anymore she runs or dances where she wants to go, but she's also getting more bumps from some heart stopping tumbles. She got her first skinned knee this weekend
It's a teeny speck, but it produced real blood. I tried uploading a video of her latest dance last night, but FB kept giving me an error message. She almost tap dances and she does it if we ask her to dance or if she's super excited. She is such a happy girl and is a real riot. I think I'm loving this age as much as the newborn squishy, cuddly stage. Her little personality never ceases to amaze me and her smiles are contagious.
I LOVE it, Mami!
Swimming with me yesterday (I had to climb in with her or she wouldn't go in)
A frequent sight...M on tippy toes. Usually she's grabbing for something off-limits
Giving her Dolly kisses- not quite sure why she did it this way
I have an obsession with chubby toddler legs. Especially, in skirts!
New pics in siggy
A is doing well. She's cutting two more top teeth and a bottom tooth which means she'll have 10 teeth by 8 months old! It's been hard on both of us, but I'm still getting lots of lovey time with her. She's still not crawling, but she's so close. She wants to pull up as well, but can't quite get her footing right. She loves to say "mama" and "dada" and really likes to play with her brother.
I love this post!! All of the LOs are just adorable!
Magda - you look amazing!
Claire/Kara - (im)patiently waiting for updated bump pics.
Eli is still such a cutie. He has been sleeping better at night, and has been getting on a better schedule during the day. I am going to be so sad to go back to work at the end of the month!
