What strange food do you eat?
A FB friend posted something about her favorite childhood snack which was a pear salad consisting of pears, mayo, and cheese. Another friend eats cream cheese and jelly sandwiches.
I started thinking about some things I eat that are weird, but i'm having a hard time coming up with anything at the moment. What are some things you eat that other people might consider gross/weird?
Re: What strange food do you eat?
My favorite sandwich is goat cheese and mango chutney on olive bread. So delicious!
I eat a lot of things that make people raise their eyebrows, but that's all I can think of right now.
I've always thought Saltine crackers with peanut butter smeared on them and 4 (yes, exactly 4) chocolate chips on top was a great snack. Perfect for those salty-sweet cravings. I don't know how weird that is though.
I don't know if it's weird or not, but I love cream cheese with Nacho Cheese Doritos. Yum!
In college my signature meal was chicken Ramen noodles with salsa mixed in and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. I called it poor-mans lasagna. Delish.
I only like cold hotdogs. Even just the smell of cooked hotdogs makes me gag, blehhh. But cold ones are delicious.
I like to drink the vineger/juice in pickle jars after I eat all the pickles, which I usually do in one sitting, because I freaking LOVE pickles. I can never get enough.
Growing up, my friend and I used to snack on pasta straight out of the box. And also potato chips dipped in ranch dressing if our parents weren't looking.
Ok, I have to say that is officially strange, dbucks.
That'd be really...crunchy.
We were really poor growing up, so I used to eat butter and jelly sandwiches all the time. I also used to eat my cereal with water instead of milk because we were told to save the milk for cooking.
Also, I like to eat cold pepperoni slices wrapped around sticks of really sharp cheddar cheese. That's yum.
