Ten Things Tuesday
1. It is hot.
2. We do not have central air and today we are going to Home Depot to get a portable air conditioner thing.
3. I'm hoping and praying that we don't have any issues installing it since we always seem to have problems with this kind of stuff.
4. Emma and I made cupcakes yesterday and put red, white, and blue sprinkles on them.
5. They were really cute.
6. I say "were" because we (I) have pretty much devoured all of them already.
7. Did I mention that it's hot?
8. I wanted to go to the zoo today since DH has the day off, but I'm thinking that I might pass out if I go.
9. DH and I saw Hangover II on Sunday and it was pretty funny.
10. My parents watched Emma while we were gone, and she kept telling them that we had gone to the hospital to get her baby sister. lol
Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. Although June is super busy & going to be super expensive - I'm really looking forward to it.
2. I have something exciting for my blog coming up in the next week or so and I cannot wait to share the news.
3. My shoulders are pink - we were at a birthday party at our friends pool yesterday. Jason & I took turns watching Dayne inside the pool house because it was way too hot to have him outside. So the brief periods I was outside I managed to get pink shoulders.
4. I wish we had central air - we have a wall unit in our bedroom thankfully so we can sleep at night. Jason is currently trying to figure out a way to keep Dayne's room cool because we're suppose to be putting him up there now.
5. #4 makes me want to cry - I like having him in our room. A friend of mine has a 5 month old and she said it was hard for her at first too but now she thinks everyone sleeps better that way.
6. I know I posted in on FB - but I'm still really excited - Dayne rolled over on Saturday. Back to front and then squeals in delight because he can lift his head up and check things out. I love it.
7. Dayne refused to fall asleep last night as was getting overtired so I gave up and put him in the swing. He was out in five minutes. I took a shower and then transferred him to his bassinet. It worked.
8. The one nice thing about all this rain we've been getting is our yard looks fantastic - we haven't had to water it in a while!
9. I hate that writing thank you notes for our family falls on my shoulders. I should hand Jason the thank you cards and tell him to work on them for awhile.
10. My DVR is once again reaching its limit....it will start deleting random shows unless I clean it up first.
1. I am very happy that I took today off.
2. I don't want to go back to work...ever.
3. After a threat of basement flooding, I finally went through the rest of my boxes this weekend.
4. I have too much crap.
5. I did not exercise this weekend like I originally planned.
6. Our backyard is still muddy.
7. I'm tired of wiping paws & have started spraying them down with the hose.

9. I'm really good at procrastinating.
10. I have stuff to return at the mall. I keep putting it off because I hate returning things.
1. I'm back from being in NC for the past week and work is pretty much the last place I would like to be right now.
2. I miss my baby niece a ton already.
3. We went to the beach last Sunday and I thought I would get a tan by not wearing sunscreen, but stupid me got bright red shoulders instead. After one hour at the beach.
4. I wish about a hundred million times over that the economy would drastically improve here.
5. I have two packages of soba noodles that I need to do something with that requires very little effort.
6. Even though the economy does stink, I am surprised that I so easily continue to retain and recruit new piano students. $25 for a half hour lesson adds up and I teach two kids for a lot of families.
7. My back hurts all the time, but I am too cheap/lazy to go to a chiropractor.
8. I finally have lots of clothes that fit, thanks to my sister's closet, my Mom and Old Navy.
9. I feel asleep on the couch at 7:30pm last night and I'm still really tired.
10. I'm going to DSW at lunch and I hope they have some sandals that I like.
1. It's really hot, but I'm holding out until the last second to turn our AC on.
2. I wanted to buy brownies at the grocery store today but I resisted.
3. However, I had to spend $50 to use a $5 coupon and when I came up $2 short I decided to spend $3 in candy bars in order to use my coupon. In the end, I had no self control.
4. I'm really excited for this summer and everything we have going on
5. I am so excited our yard is finally so close to be doing, I can't wait to take the "after" photos!
6. I can't decide what I want for lunch - all I know is I am really hungry.
7. I like that it's already Tuesday, I hope that the week is going to go by fast.
8. DH and I also saw Hangover 2 on Sunday - it was funny, but it was never going to be as great as the first.
9. My grandma and I are going to lunch tomorrow, I always enjoy that one-on-one time with her.
10. I am in the mood to plan a vacation.
1. I am going to have pasta salad for lunch. I am pretty excited about it.
2. I am trying to get organized for Landon's party. It's not working so well.
3. I made a balloon wreath for the part this weekend, that's as far as I got with planning.
4. Gidget was super annoying last night and couldn't find a cool place to sleep. She kept rotating between under the crib, on the bed, and the hallway floor.
5. Thank God for air conditioning.
6. We got a table at Target yesterday so we can eat dinner outside now. Yay!
7. I was going to return stuff to the mall this afternoon, but DH just called and said he has a meeting so he needs he car.
8. I have to get to the post office to mail BIL's birthday gift.
9. I painted my toe nails yesterday and immediately felt 10x better about life.
10. Landon is getting super bold with his waling, he can almost make it all the way across the room. Yikes.
1. 3 day weekend made it very hard to come to work today
2. DD has been waking up several times a night since Friday - I miss my sleeping through the night baby
3. We took down the glass shower doors in our bathroom, it will be so much easier to clean and bathe DD in.
4. I have 46 episodes of 90210 on my dvr, I don't think I'll ever watch them all.
5. DH is going to Vegas on Wednesday, I am jealous
6. I am not looking forward to being a single mom while he's gone.
7. several of the letters on my keyboard have come off and I sometimes have trouble spelling correctly
8. I need to go shopping for new work clothes but don't have time

1. I have cried pretty much every day for the past week because Gabe is turning 1. I know you all must think I'm nuts, but it's been really hard on me.
2. Not only have I been able to proved breastmilk for a year for Gabriel, he will continue to get it until probably 18 mo because of the frozen stash I have. I couldn't be more proud of myself.
3. I'm still not ready for the party. I'm super stressed.
4. My little sister graduates HS on Friday. This also makes me cry daily.
5. I clearly have a crying problem.
6. I need a haircut BAD, but I'm booked solid until the last weekend of June. My hair has to wait.
7. I will admit that I was counting down to the 2hr Secret Life special last night.
8. I will also admit that I can't wait for next Monday's episode.
9. DH tried to paint the exterior of the house this weekend. We decided to hire someone.

1. I feel like I have more to do tonight to get ready to go to NY than I have time for.
2. I did not like Cougar Town or Parks & Rec when they first started. Now they are 2 of my faves. Nothing compared to Modern Family though.
3. My DVR is finally down to <60 shows. Having a baby really cramps my trashy TV watching time. (Tarah's 10 things reminded me of this)
4. We have central air and it does not cool our bedroom.
5. I did not sleep much last night because of this.
6. Why else did I not sleep well? Because at 4AM H started loudly talking in his sleep and woke the baby.
7. I proceeded to punch him in the ass and tell him to take care of her.

10. Unless I'm in/near a body of water, I'm not a fan of the heat. I'd take a winter wonderland over sweating all day any time.
10 Years Later
1. Our thermostat is set for 76, but I always end up kicking it down to 74.
2. FIL is in town and I'm looking forward to going swimming at the hotel pool tonight
3. I have my appointment with the jaw specialist today. Of course my jaw is feeling great
4. We picked up our new van on Friday!
5. Noah is scared of the new van.
6. I don't look forward to my weekends this month just because there's so much going on.
7. DH had vacuumed our bathroom and the floor must have been damp. He didn't empty the canister so when I went to use it this weekend, it was the nastiest thing. And it smelled like someone died and made our entire house smell like death
8. I was proud of myself for being able to completely take apart the vacuum to clean it. It still stinks though
9. After I put the vacuum together and tried to finally vacuum the carpet, the beater bar seized. Our carpet sheds so much that all the carpet fuzz had wound so tightly around it until it couldn't spin anymore

1 Maternity jeans/pants/capris suck.
2 We got most of the big things for the house done or at least planned out.
3 The little things are stressing me out.
4 I love painting, but I would probably change my mind if I was in charge of actually rolling the paint on the walls. I'm in charge of cutting in and trim
5 We are so lucky to have so much help with the new house. My mom and step dad, Dh Mom dad and sister and bil. It makes me annoyed with my own dad...who probably doesnt even know that I moved.
6 I have to call my grandma, but I keep forgetting. I suck.
7 MIL made lemon blueberry muffins and they are the best thing ever.
8 I hate automatated customer service...I dont think they can pick up the tone of my voice. It makes me want to throw my phone and rip my hair out.
9 I just found out my cousin in failing 5 of her classes. She probably wont graduate. My aunt keeps making excuses for her. They were looking to buy her a new car. Cousin doesnt work. WTF does she need a new car for? Ridiculous.
10 I cant wait to finally move in!
Mommy's little helper
1.) I successfully cleaned the whole main floor of my house on Saturday including filing away a million pieces of paper in the office.
2.) It felt fantastic to purge.
3.) DH and I (well mostly DH) have 95% of the planting and yardwork done. DH even got the veggie garden planted over the weekend too.
4.) I love my new iPhone.
5.) I love DH's new Keurig, I made a delicious cup of tea in 20 seconds flat.
6.) We ordered 10 boxes of k-cups that should be here this week.
7.) I wish I was a better golfer.
8.) We went on our friend's boat yesterday and while I LOVE it, DH isn't so much of a fan of boating. Boo.
9.) Relay for Life is this weekend and I have a few things I need to prepare.
10.) I'm not nearly as focused as I should be right now.
1. While i was really sick of it being cold and rainy, the sudden heat was quite a shock to my system.
2. I'm waiting for someone to call me with family gossip. I feel a little bad about being excited about it but i'm just so curious as to what it is about.
3. I noticed a couple weeks ago that my co-worker scratches her head a lot. It makes a kind of funny sound. Now it drives me crazy every time she does it.
4. Despite the heat and feeling like i was going to pass out, i got a new hydrangea plant and a new rose bush planted. It makes me very happy.
5. Between our anniversary and memorial weekend plans, i ate my way through the weekend and am surprised i even had clothes that fit this morning.
6. I got to hang out with good friends and their baby yesterday. Their parenting approach is very refreshing and i definitely see their baby accelerating because of it.
7. I am very hungry but have no lunch. Decisions decisions.
8. I wish i had a boat.
9. The damage in our kitchen from a water leak is worse then we thought and i'm stressing about it.
10. I wish the work day was over...right.....NOW!
1. Saw Bridesmaids on Saturday. It cracked me up.
2. Was walking to the bathroom at the movies when I heard my name called. I was still walking when I turned to see who it was. It was both mine and DH's former boss. I said Hi just as I tripped. Embarrassing!
3. We are grilling steak tonight that we got from a farm. I am excited to try it.
4. I have leftover lasagna and delicious bread from Tomato Bros (aka Highland House, Gus's carryout, etc) for lunch.
5. I need to go to Meijer at lunch, but I can't remember what for.
6. I need a haircut. I have been juggling two stylists like a little hair cut slut. I want to see my original stylist that I have had for about 15 years. But I really don't want to drive to Royal Oak nor do I really have the time. So I guess it will be the one I am cheating with again. She is good, just not my main lady that I miss.
7. I made a fruit pizza for a bbq on Sunday. It was yummy and I wish there was some left.
8. It is probably good there isn't any left. I have gained a couple pounds recently.
9. I coudn't sleep last night and I am paying for it today.
10. I like cats. The animals, not the musical.
1. My power went out on Sunday because of the storms and didnt come back on until yesterday night.
2. We have well water and without power we had no toilets to use, kept driving to Meijer to use theirs :-)
3. Because of number 2, we had to cancel the BBQ/Birthday party we had planned out our house for DH. He was really disappointed.
4. Because of number 3 I have a fridge full of food that Im not sure what to do with.
5. I had Jimmy Johns for lunch.
6. I wish we had central air. I hate the heat and would rather it be freezing cold.
7. I made DH install the window a/c unit so I would be able to sleep comfortably last night.
8. My craft room needs to be cleaned, but Im not motivated to do so.
9. Im hoping this short work week goes quickly.
10. Im looking forward to going to Garage Sales with my cousin this weekend.
1. Camping weekends are too short.
2. I am not a fan of doing a ton of laundry after camping.
3. Hopefully DH fixed the leak that was coming in the basement where the gas line comes into the house. We'll know after the next few hard rains.
4. I got a nice burn on my shoulders from working outside with DH yesterday.
5. I am so glad we have central air.
6. Our neighbor was really nice and cut our lawn yesterday. DH couldn't believe how much it had grown in a week.
7. Because of #6, I need to make a dessert to take over.
8. I need to clean my house, but I have no desire to do it right now
9. I would love to register for fall classes but I have to wait until DH's company makes a decision about where they are moving to.

Married Bio with reviews | Our Journey
1. DH and I decided this weekend that we will not be buying new furniture for the baby's room (we'll just buy a crib) but we're going to try to paint the furniture a darker color, so hopefully it looks nice.
2. DH had to re-run some ducting in the basement, so we did not get the ceiling tiles finished this weekend.
3. Even though we didn't get nearly enough done this weekend, it was so great to just lay around and relax.
4. It was way too hot yesterday, so I finally agreed to turn on the a/c.
5. I have a half day on friday (before going out of town) so I only have a 3.5 day work week.
6. Last week I missed my yoga class because my power went out and my car was stuck inside the garage, and this week it was cancelled because of the holiday. I'm kinda starting to miss it.
7. I'm a little nervous about flying & going through security while pregnant.
8. I don't think I'll go through the new scanners, but I really don't want to get groped.
9. I got a daycare rec from our neighbors, but I have a feeling its going to be way too expensive.
10. A guy at work is pissing me off because he keeps lying about something. It's about something that is over with and all he has to do is stop talking about it. Every time he lies about it, it just pisses me off and makes me more inclined to tell his boss he's full of sh!t.

3. I cannot wait to be done being pregnant so I can wear my normal clothes again.

5. I'm tempted to buy an inflatable kiddy pool to lay in on the patio like a beached whale. I bet my neighbors will love it!
6. Even though we are trying to save every extra dime, I really want to go shopping for house stuff.
7. Food is awesome. It makes me very happy.
8. Despite my efforts to brush things off, MIL has been annoying me lately.
9. Despite my insistence that pg hasn't made me bitchy, I cannot control my rage sometimes.
10. I'm slightly happy I have a legitimate excuse why I can't go to dinner with the In-Laws on Wednesday. Being friendly and making small talk and such is tiring sometimes, and I like going home and relaxing after work. But I feel guilty saying I'm not coming to the weekly dinner without having an actual reason.
1. I prefer this kind of weather over any other, but I like it a little more humid.

3. I got a slurpee at lunch to hold me over
4. Summer isn't as much fun with an infant
5. It took me 30 minutes to prep Nick to go outside for 15 minutes yesterday

7. I'm the reason we didn't open the pool this weekend, because MI is never warm enough this early to open it.

4. We are dog sitting 2 other dogs right now, and it is a little overwhelming.
5. One of the dogs is my brothers and we are watching her for 3 months..not a big deal, she is perfect..but the other dog is our neighbors and I feel like they think we can watch their dog anytime...
6.our neigbs dog is great too, but they don't send any food over with him, I feel bad-the dogs are so good..it's just A LOT to handle and we sleep on the couch to keep everyone comfy

8. I don't think M will be walking by her first bday, it makes me a little sad, I was hoping to have a walking baby by the 18th!
9. I am taking a week of at the end of June, and I am counting down the days.
10. We will be heading up to Mackinaw Island for a few days during my time off and I am very excited because I have never been there!

4. I made two strawberry rhubarb pies this weekend. Both were divine.
5. We turned our a/c on this w/e too. This is amazing for us as we might have had it on a few days last summer. Here's hoping for a hot summer...and unfortunately the high DTE bill to go with it
6. I bought the sippy top for my kleen kanteen and I'm loving drinking water out of it!
7. I almost always drive because I hate the way Carl drives.
8. I always get the same thing at Coney Island. Blueberry pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a small baby Greek salad.
9. Cam's Dr. suggested starting him on cereal and solids at his appt today. That makes me sad. He's growing up too fast.
10. My house is destroyed. Partly because we haven't been here at all the last 4 days or so. We helped BIL and SIL at their adoption fundraising garage sale on Fri and Sat and they raised $4500!
My Happy House
1. DD loves when I toss her up in the air. DS hates it. I really thought it would be the opposite.
2. I just took the babies for a walk outside, not realizing how insanely hot it is. I turned around and came right back home after 5 minutes.
3. I'm working part-time now and enjoy the little 'break'. No flames please.
4. I'm not enjoying the fact that DD doesn't sleep well when DH does bedtime alone (while I'm working). DH thinks it's just a fluke, but she sleeps perfectly when I am home for bedtime.
5. The dog was hacking/coughing the other day and the babies were laughing at him. I felt bad that they thought it was funny.
6. I've eaten way too many S'mores over the past few days. I think I'll have another when I put the babies down for a nap.
7. I watched 1/2 of the Bachelorette (I DVRd it) and it was boring. I might not watch the other 1/2.
8. I get irritated about the littlest things lately and it is driving me nuts.
9. The babies' play area downstairs is a mess, but I don't care. As soon as I pick everything up it's just going to get trashed again so why bother?
10. DH does not like my mentality in regards to #9. Oh well.
Haha...I quoted this yesterday to my MIL who kept counting stuff. Then I got it stuck in my head.
1. I always type out TTT in my work email so it looks like I am working
2. I am wearing a skirt to work today for the first time in over 2 years, I love skirts and could live in them, but the men in my office are pigs that make inappropriate comments
3. The reason I am wearing a skirt today is because it hurts to wear pants. I was in the sun for 3 hours yesterday with no sunscreen. (I know how stupid that was, believe me!
4. Even though I burnt myself purple I am still excited to sit by the pool this weekend, with sunscreen this time!
5. I LOVE this weather, the hotter the better!
6. I have no motivation to do actual work today, even though I have a ton to do
7. I need to put in my vacation days for the summer and keep forgetting, I can?t believe tomorrow is already June!
8. I have a new obsession with eating organic / all natural. We went to a farm / grocery store on Saturday and bought a freezer full of locally grown, steroid-free, preservative-free, hormone-free meat.?.it?s delicious!!
