How was everyone's weekend?

Mine was sooooo lazy. I should have deep cleaned the house but I didn't. I think the most exciting thing we did was go price out stove tops and microhoods  and on Sunday we went to my parents house after church for a BBQ. After that we went to see the new "Pirates" movie (which I recommend). Anyone do anything fun?

  • We had a weekend??

Mine was long and expensive and no where lazy. I had a yard sale for my Lions Club so I was doing that from 7am-4pm Saturday. I even had to get DH and BIL to help do the heavy stuff.

Sunday I took BIL, SIL, and MIL to the mall so SIL could shop for maternity clothes. BIL went shopping at Apple & Sears LOL.

Monday was kinda lazy although E was a brat in the morning. I met up with BFF and her 2 boys and we went to TRU and Michaels. I bought E a water table and a ton of yarn and other goodies. I saved quite a bit of money by using some awesome coupons but it was still expensive.

Congrats!!!!! That is way better than my weekend.

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were mind-blowingly awesome. 1/2 of Monday was the worst ever and nearly undid all the joy. But I ate an eclair and some mac and cheese which made up for it. But again, most of the weekend was amazing so I can't complain. :D

  • It was good but wish it was longer! Sat DH and I went hiking in Del Valle (w/our dog of course), Sunday he worked and I went running with a friend & then cleaned house & washed my SUV (well now it's raining here go figure). Yesterday, I lounged a bit and one of my cousins came over w/her dog and we bbq'd chicken. I wanted to socialize our dog more and her dog is well trained and both dogs were well behaved (both dogs are female too so this was good).

  • Ours was good.  Sunday was our anniversary and to celebrate we ate our way through the day Smile  Started with brunch at this great little place in Cambridge where we ordered 2.5 entrees (oink, oink) then for dinner we went to Blue Ginger (Ming Tsai's restaurant, for those of you who are into celebrity chefs).  We were hoping to do the tasting menu there again but it was too busy so they weren't offering but we still had a great meal nonetheless.  The other tables around us--four of us in a row--were all celebrating wedding anniversaries too, haha!

Yesterday we BBQed with my family and just hung out.  Can't remember what we did on Friday or Saturday to save my life--I think I'm still hung over from our food orgy Sunday/Monday Stick out tongue

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Yeah mine was boring, too. I did a couple of job apps and already got word I'm not being considered. We tend to lay low on big holiday wknds. Today I went shopping with a Nestie and tomorrow DH and I are doing lunch. Benefits of not working FT.
