so DH is doing a half iron man triathlon this coming sunday.
1 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.
he's getting a little nervous, and he's reading the race website for information and such.
..... first, he read that "there will be a medical tent at the bike to run transistion, and any race participants who need medical attention will not be allowed to transition into the run"
...second, he read that "for the run portion of the race, the only locomotion allowed is running, walking or crawling, no exceptions."
hahahahaha. Crawling? You should have seen the terror in DH's face when he said crawling.
I know, his fear isn't funny, but he's just psyching himself out. I know he'll do fine next week.
Re: ohh poor DH
there it is! we were trying to think of what else could be done to get through the course haha.
Summersaults might be fun. I would be long dead before the biking even began, being that I never learned to swim (I know, *gasp*, right?). Unless they allow flippers and a kickboard, in which case I could probably get through a mile in a day. In the past when I've tried to swim I end up staying in one place (frustrating!) or going backwards (well, at least it's movement).

Ahh poor DH. I'm sure he'll do fine!
However, if he is too tired to finish the run, my vote is for somersaulting to the finish line. And you should get some pics! lol
