How was your race? We were at mile 21 but I don't think I saw you. I still cheered for as many runners as I could, just in case!
Re: GRKaters
Hahaha - I did! I am a megadork when at a race. I have to cheer for everyone and use names whenever I can.
Also, kinda funny - We ended up standing at the end of a driveway of a beautiful home overlooking the water. Runners were going by and making comments to us about the house, "My BIL used to live there" 'Pretty flowers" "Great location" etc. etc. And we were like, "Yeah - it is a nice house" Until one runner said to us, "I love your house" Our house? hahaha. Um, no. Mike just said thank you and we had a little laugh about it.
We were there... Friday? Saturday? buying paint.

I had a GREAT race, thanks! A friend of mine met me at mile 21, actually, and jumped in with me. I was distracted looking for her--that was a HUGE spectator spot!--so I forgot to listen for other "Go Kate"s
How was your spectating experience? I had to laugh when I'd run by packs of people--in my tank and shorts--who were wearing winter coats and gloves. I'm sure it was nasty weather to stand around in!

Yay! Glad you had a great race.
Our spectating experience was good. We were able to park super close to the road and Henry held up well staying in the same spot for a couple hours. We missed my bro coming through the first time and didn't make it to the finish. But my whole family was spread out at the different points to make sure he always had someone cheering him on. But we saw him after he finished and all went to lunch.
