i confess while we were pooling it up with our friends, we were talking about our hypothetical kids and they told us the girl name they like...and i had to lie and say it was nice. it's a nice name...but the spelling they want is awful.
Re: Tuesday Confessions
fine...it's riley.
but spelled rylee.

i probably will once it's an actual baby....but i'm hoping maybe the hypothetical will change. and DH and i have already decided we're picking a name that will be cute on a kindergarten name tag...and sound good as a senator's name.

You never cease to amaze me.
I confess that I think we're underwater this month. And I cannot fix it!
Call me Kat =^..^=
Both spellings are becoming really popular these days. Riley is obviously the more common one but I've seen lots of name badges on the bump with the spelling Rylee.
We have friends who daughter is Reilly but it's spelled that way b/c it's a family name.
that i totally get.
would you vote for a woman running for mayor named rylee? or pick her out of the phone book to be your dentist? no you would not.

I confess I have a cousin named Heavyn. I still want to slap my aunt. WTF
Haha, probably not. I just fear that in 25 years there is going to be an abundance of professionals with random "y"s in their name. . . .it's totally the trendy thing to do now. . . . .people have no respect for vowels anymore.
Did she grow up to be a stripper?
Not yet. She's still a kid. It just sounds horrible. I remember as a teenager taking them to a play place and my aunt looking for her going "Heavyn?! Where are you?" and all the nearby customers looking at her like she was crazy. Oy. Why.
i confess i have NO clue what you're talking about...they did not teach that at my kindergarten

I have a friend with a niece named Jurney. Because Journey isn't bad enough spelled correctly. And I also took ballet when I was a little girl with a kid named Ashleighanne. Pretty sure I recognized the ridonkulousness of that even as a 7 year old.
HAha! My boss actually complimented me on my "business letter folding skillz" a couple of weeks ago. I thought at the time "How hard is this lady?!", but now I see, I have a very special talent!
HA! Awesome skillz indeed!
I take the paper, fold it in 3rds, make sure its aligned, then use the edge of a pen to make the creases sharp. <--- mad admin skillz.
Yes. my college degree IS very handy. not.
Call me Kat =^..^=
I have a freakin' art degree. I can make almost anything work. For some reason I fail at this simple skill. Even if I try to fold it up it ends up crooked. OY.
I envy both of your mad folding skillz. Even when I put the piece of paper over the envelope as a guide for size, it still winds up wonky and usually crooked. I can fold paper in half perfectly like there's no tomorrow, but neatly into thirds? Uhhhh....
