Tips on Border Crossing
Hello Ladies: I am from the NYC Board and thought someone over here possibly lived in Buffalo (or knew the area well) and could help me. I am heading to my sis's graduation in Canada next week but she suggested that I fly to Buffalo Airport and then take a shuttle to her place in St. Catharine's, Ontario. The prices that I am quoted for the shuttle is more expensive than the flight ticket so my questions are:
- how long does it take from Buffalo Airport to St. Catharine's
- do you know of any cheaper options?

Yahoo maps shows St Catharines is only a 52 min drive. you might want to add approx 30 min for border crossing (Rainbow Bridge usually has the shortest wait).
how about renting a car?
I don't have any info on border crossing..
But I saw your siggy and couldn't resist checking out your bio - wow! Your renovations are amazing! Are those IKEA kitchen cabinets? And did you put sheetrock over the paneling on the walls? Or did you have to rip out the paneling?

Thanks for the tips ladies. I got a coupon online and went with the shuttle. I have my driver's license but don't drive so didn't want to take a risk.
Arctic Fox, thanks. We put new sheetrock in and removed the panels. Those kitchen cabinets we found at a local store for about the same price as Ikea plus they delivered! I really should update the bio but thanks for your compliments.
