pet friendly get-away closeby?
I want to get away for a weekend, preferably by a beach. Anyone know anything that is pet-friendly?

I'd look at homeaway.com or vbro.com.
Zoey isn't exactly dainty and we've had a hard time finding hotels without weight restrictions. Renting a condo or finding a B&B or Inn with beach access might be easier - especially since you can add a pet-friendly requirement to your search.
Here are a couple of options. We normally find a place to stay via homeaway.com or vrbo.com. Hotels.com also allows you to search by pet friendly
Bethany Beach or Dewey Beach, DE - Beaches don't allow dogs until after 5 p.m. this time of year, but Delaware State Seashore does and it is usually much less crowded.
Berkeley Springs, WV
Luray, VA
St. Michael's, MD (we stayed at the Five Gables Inn - great place!)
Williamsburg, VA (Residence Inn - pretty barebones, but clean and conveniently located)
I've also heard great things about the Savage River Lodge.
Also, all Kimpton hotels are pet friendly.
