Best/Worst for the Holiday Weekend?
Saw this on ML, and thought it was a great idea. List your best and worst of the holiday weekend here!

...here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
Re: Best/Worst for the Holiday Weekend?
Best: Friday night had a great time out at dinner, Saturday a relaxing day and saw Hangover 2. Sunday, had an awesome massage and we went to a friend's bbq - good times.
Worst: Monday was the day from hell and the husband was in a mood and I was trying my best not to bludgeon him. (LOL. but not really..) Top it off, I started having *different* contractions around 4:30, and by 7:00pm, I was jumping out of my skin. Turns out, I was not having Braxton Hicks, but the real deal. Rushed to the hospital while puking and peeing my pants simultaneously (CLASSAY!!) and after receiving two shots, and two pills - they got the contractions to stop. Like I told the Dr. "Its not Memorial Day until you get a vaginal exam!!" - everyone laughed EXCEPT the husband.
Now, I get to take that special pill once a day for 2 weeks so I don't go back into labor. God, let these 6 weeks go fast!!
Oh my gosh, Alisha! How are you feeling? Rest up and take care. Stay snuggled in little one.
Best: The weather! DH and I went to and also did our own BBQs and it was all amazing! The food, the drinks, the company - I really enjoyed myself this weekend!
Worst: Deciding to cross out some chores on our "Spring Cleaning" List on Monday (the hottest and most non-Spring like day). We were so tired afterwards. Thank God for beers, good wine and bbq ribs to make the dust, and fatigue go away.

Alisha, I hope you're feeling better, that sounds horrible!!
Best: Pizza making and wine drinking class on Sunday - we got to make our own dough, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, and then eat all our creations. Also super proud of DH and myself for tackling most of our spring cleaning on Monday while staying near the AC.
Worst: DH insisting on Sunday night that we must go spend the entire Monday with his parents in the park near a lake with some shade (while mind you, we saw them on Saturday for a bit and then the whole evening on Sunday). There's only so much ILs I can take and fighting over them makes me very frustrated! Luckily, he let it go and we stayed home.
Bubblegum Explosion
Oh, Alisha, you just need to catch a break! And your DH needs to catch a sense of humor!!
Worst, DH and BabyP tried to go to the playground in our bldg and there were teenagers playing hardball and they wouldn't leave. It was just ugly. Reported it to management, but still, had to leave playground steeped in 3 year old tears.
Best, tie! Sunday went to Green Meadows Farm, adjacent to Queens County Farm Museum and went through their petting zoo, milked a cow, took a pony ride. A very happy afternoon and tired little kid after. Sun: Big Apple Circus in Cunningham Park. It wasn't the best performance of theirs that I have ever seen but the kid really liked it and was asleep before we made the 15 minute car ride home.
Best: Monday night-- Dinner at Old Homestead (I had a beet salad, filet mignon, sauteed broccoli, and key lime pie), took a walk along the High Line, watched the sunset, made it home in time to grab a few groceries, and relax with the H.
Worst: Saturday morning-- this.
Sorry about your contractions! =( Hope LO behaves for you!
Best: Had a lovely time at my niece's 1st birthday party.
Worst: hmmm...can't say there really was a "worst". I guess I don't like that it's THIS hot out already and don't have a pool to go in. =( Dad and sis are opening 'rents pool tomorrow...YIPPEE!
