Question about airport security xray machines at Oakland Airport
For those of you who have flown out of Oakland airport in recent months - do they use the new security screening machines there? Oakland is listed on the TSA website as one of the airports that use these, but I remember when these first came out there were some discrepancies between the list and which airports actually had them.
If they have them and you've flown out of Oakland recently, did you request a pat-down instead? What was your experience like with the TSA agents there?
I'm flying out of Oakland on Monday morning, for the first time since these machines were introduced, and just got a little nervous

I flew out of OAK on the 7th and didn't notice anything different than every other time I've been to the airport. All the same conveyor belt business, walk through the normal old metal detector thing, rapidly get all of your stuff together while hopping on one leg trying to put on shoes. The agents were just as nice/indifferent as I always find them.
No one copped a feel or took indecent pictures of me.

Hmmm ok. I guess I'll just hope I get to go through the metal detector or else I'll be asking for a pat-down :-/
