was looking for a recommendation for a shredding place
i went through my old files today and needed to find a company to take my stuff to to shred my old paperwork. i posted on my town's message board for a recommendation for a place that does shredding and my neighbor responded not to bother going to one of those places because she could just take it to work with her and shred it for me herself (she works at a funeral home).
very sweet but ummmm.... i kind of don't want my neighbor to have my personal info either! not that i don't trust her but if it's stuff that i need shredded i think i'd feel more comfortable taking it directly to a professional company. didn't exactly know how to respond! i ended up getting a rec for a company that does it for corporations but individuals can drop off their stuff for free. it worked really well.
