Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
How do you stay motivated ? I have a blog. I enjoy using it. It is also meant to document our adoption journey. My problem is that I never think I have anything to talk about really. How do you stay motivated to post ? How do you think of ideas to post ? I'm going to try Vlog Fridays as a way to stay motivated to post. We'll see how that goes.

I think at least twice a week would be a good, attainable goal.
My hesitation in posting about contacts is that this blog is linked to our agency profile. I don't want to put any information out there that would make potential birth parents uncomfortable, or jeopardize a situation. If they come to the blog, I want them to get a sense of who we are, not necessarily other contacts we've had, or that we're sad/mad/anxious about another contact.
I guess it's just like anything in trying to find a balance in how much you are willing to share.
Some ideas that might help: think of a weekly feature like vlog Fridays, Style Tuesdays, Bargain Wednesdays, Foodie Sundays, etc. That way you have something set in mind to write about, and adding pictures to the post really helps!
Post about the things you do on the weekends, even if it is just talking about your favorite show, favorite restaurant, or the fixing ups around the house you did.
Here is a cool article about it also: http://www.chrisbrogan.com/how-to-blog-almost-every-day/
