S/O Bugs

Who kills bugs at your house, you or DH?

Re: S/O Bugs

  • If DH is home then he has to kill them. If it's just me I suck it up and do it.

  • I don't have a problem with bugs (I guess part of growing up here), so I kill anything I see. DH kills anything he sees. The only exception is wasps and bees (I'm allergic to bees, don't want to test wasps), and usually roaches because they make my skin crawl. Everything else, I'm good, especially if there's a shoe around.

  • I usually kill them. DH usually trys to catch and release and I have little patience for that.
  • I'm too much of a wimp to kill anything. I'm usually a catch and release person. If DH is home, he kills them.

  • We both catch and release, unless it's poisonous (like the Daring Jumping Spiders that occasionally hunt on our porch), and in that case I Raid it. One time I raided one and DH said it was so cool looking that I shouldn't have killed it. Um right. Things with fangs like that are not allowed to live, but I'm not a smusher.

  • We've been really lucky with bugs here, it was actually worse when we lived in LA. There were tons of roaches when we first moved in but DH buys roach spray and runs it along the baseboards and outside the house so I can't remember the last time I saw a bug.

Plus we just got a kitty so she should be taking care of any that pop up!
