Did Cam like the pool?
We put Nick in a baby pool and he loved it. So I am hoping he loves our big pool just as much.

Thanks! He did! I mean, he didn't cry, so I suppose he liked it. We took him in the pool up at the cabin two weekends ago and he wasn't sure at first about it, but we started swishing him around and got some smiles. He's just too cool to get excited about these kinds of things, I guess?
I joined The Summit down here so we can take him in that pool too, but it's indoors which isn't as fun for the summer IMO. I am 100% jealous of your outside, big people pool!

Very cute picture Molly - I love that Gib is drinking the water too. haha. Did he get in the pool with Cam?
We are swim class dropouts. He hated it. Cried and clung to us the entire half an hour class for 4 weeks straight. It scarred him so bad that he would scream and cry during his bath. We decided to stop going (there are only 2 more classes anyways) because it was just not enjoyable for him
Makes me so sad.

Does he enjoy his baths? We haven't put Dayne in the water yet other than his baths but he LOVES his baths. He likes to splash around and a bath will stop any tantrum he may be throwing. haha.
Well if you are ever on the eastside, you can bring him in the big people pool at my house
And Sheila Gabe doesn't like the pool?!?!
We only set up the baby pool so far, and he thinks it's the bath, so I hope Nick loves the big pool. If not, he will learn to love it, cause now DH wants to take it out, and it will be harder to take it out if he loves it, as much as I do!

No. Gib isn't a huge fan of water. Not really sure what to do with it other than drink it.
Sheila- That makes me so sad! I would have done the same thing. Hopefully he will warm up to it eventually!

This post makes me want to run out and buy a baby pool! I got DD the cutest bathing suit (though I'm worried she's going to grow out of it before we put it on her).

Sheila - my friend's son HATED the water at about 8 months and now he's 2 and he likes it a lot more. So give Gabe some time and he'll come around. Just wait until a really hot day and I bet he'll love it.
He saw that face already! We went back and forth every year about taking the pool out, but it's still there, so I guess I win! WINNING!!!!!!!!
I vote no life jacket. It's a better life lesson. Theres no such thing as a life jacket in the pool of life.
