I like that you brought up terrorism. I watch Al Jazeera because they are part of my international tv package, I understand Arabic but there are subtitles too. Durring the entire election, when Obama was discussed, they called him their Ahi(brother in Arabic). They thought it was amazing that there would be a Muslim president. I am not disputing that Obama isn't the Christian he said he is but to the Middle East, he is a Muslim. As part of my second degree, theology, I studied Islam. There are two items that absolutely scare me, the terms cufar(somone who hides from Islam, modern word, cover), and munafikun(a Muslim who turms his back on Islam). The Koran discusses both types, there are entire verses about both. Being either is punishable by death. My point is, of Obama does something the Muslim world doesn't agree with, we are in a lot of trouble.
WTH? I've actually gone to a GTG with one of those posters. Now I feel all icky...

She recently moved to Israel, I believe.
Also, I find the "well, a black man's won the presidency, racism is immediately over" comment to be incredibly creepy....
IMHO, it's code for "Black people aren't allowed to complain about racism anymore, 'cuz there's been a Black president."

That's precisely what it was. Because that poster later went on to explain that it meant that all AA programs should be canceled because race doesn't matter anymore, etc.
I am too drained to participate in a board war today - you should post this over on E08 (obviously not to tired to instigate one though)
EDIT: For the love of all that is holy - why are people so fricking stupid! That was no way a remark against conservatives or republicans but some of the comments over there make me want to wring necks!
