Best place to buy sneakers: KoP or Main Line

DH and I joined a new gym over the weekend, and I'm in desperate need of new sneakers if I'm going to get into a good workout routine. I'd like to go somewhere that they can really give me good direction on what type of shoes I need for my feet.

Any recommendations around King of Prussia or the Main Line (Ardmore to Radnor is my preferred limit for the ML)?

  • I think suburb an square has a running store.
  • Bryn Mawr Running Company

    828 West Lancaster Avenue
    Bryn Mawr, PA 19010-3209

It's right near the Bryn Mawr train station.  Bring your most recent pair of shoes with you, so they can look at the treads on the bottom.  Also, bring a pair of the socks you are most likely to wear when working out--this will give you the truest fit.

They also have a location in Media, right on State Street.

    Awesome, thank you!

  • I'm planning to check out Bryn Mawr Running after we move to Ardmore in a few weeks. I've been wearing Mizunos but I think they're making my arches hurt. I think I need to be re-fitted for a different shoe.
