we're here!
in the new house!
we have had a VERY busy few days but, we are here, moved in and have internet and cable (well...satellite. wahtever). yay!
Friday....busy with running errands before the closing. fit in a quick lunch to meet Beeyotch and Karebear. FUN! i talked everyones ears off bc i was all hypes up on caffeine and excitement. they probably think i'm nutso. we had our closing at 4pm that day and we came to the house that evening so H could put his grill together. there was only 1 big uh-oh moment the whole weekend....when i went to change the utilities over, i didnt realize that the gas was turned off here...and the company can't come until the 1st (today) to turn it on. so...no hot water and also no gas for the grill (we have a natural gas line). poor H...all he wanted to do was use his new grill.
Sat - tree day. i didnt do much...i had Bennett that day without help so i pretty much ran (a TON of) errands for the boys, got lunch, and brought a few things over to teh house. the day went by quickly. back to the condo to finish packing up and taking furniture apart.
Sun - moving day. up at 7am....truck picked up at 9am. friends showed up on time to help (yay!) and it was like a billion degrees outside. we got everythign moved, with the exception of some pictures on the walls that i didnt want in the moving truck. we have some random stuff at the condo and it needs cleaned...ugh! but...we finished!
mon - cleaning & unpacking...just the beginning. more errands. all of the closets have the white wire closetmaid shelving and it was FILTHY! like sticky gross. my mom spent the whole day cleaning the pantry shelves and got nowhere. grrr. lots of errands. overwhelmed.
tues - got some good sleep and much needed rest...took B to the sitter and my grandma came to help me clean since H was back at work. she did the workwork for me and we did the bathrooms. bought a new toilet seat bc the one in the master was way beyond cleaning. found Goof Off wipes which work to clean the shelving. new sectional delivered.
so...today i'm working. H's dad and his friend are coming into town for a few days to help. we have a lot of unpacking to do and the gas company comes today so i'm hoping i can get some hot water and do laundry. shower. the important stuff 
i love our new home. LOVE it.
