no new recent purchases...we got the grill cover a couple of weeks ago, and since then, i dont think we have purchased anything...saving our cash for the tickets to the keys (which went up on friday and now i have to wait for another pay check to afford them!)

I actually just went a little nuts, buying hot-weather work-appropriate clothes. For me, that's still casual, but needs to be below the knee and preferably not very low cut since I'm bending over so often. I hit up the VS (pants) and Piperlime (tops) sale sections:
(I already own these ^^ in a sand color, and am wearing them today; I own the pair below in brown and wore them yesterday - I'm excited to get them in another color AND a print!)

I ordered them online, so I don't know about the first pair. The second pair I can guess based on the others that I have - they're loose but not huge if you order your size; I feel comfortable in them but it doesn't look like I'm hiding in big clothes, if that makes sense? They close with a drawstring so you can choose to wear them where you want - I tie them so they ride on my hips, like the model is wearing them.
In general I've had good luck with VS pants, but sometimes the rear looks weird and they don't show you that view, which is why I've been sticking to looser casual fits like this, where it doesn't matter (IMO). I will give you a full report when they arrive if you'd like, but I'm not sure they'll still be on sale/available.

Totally jealous of the trip to the Keys, Shauni. That's one place I've never been and really want to go.
I've been trying to be responsible, so they only thing I've spent money on lately is paying down my student loans. Stupid expensive education!
