Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

This is crap if it's true. I dont shop at these stores anyway (too high priced for me), but it's still ridiculous!

oh yeah. I read about that last week. It's true! there was actually an interesting article on how the artist's post (the one you linked to) was picked up and spread like wildfire throughout social networks. thousands of people were tweeting and facebooking about it. the product was removed from UO's website by the end of the day!
from what I was reading that happens a lot with UO and Anthropologie (their sister store). makes me sick!
So the power of social networks shut the big guys down? Every artist and crafter shouldnt have to, but it looks like they need to get patents on their items they designed, or have a lawyer ready?

I know. It's a scary unknown world protecting your work. We've gotta talk to a lawyer to see how we're supposed to go about it.
