Lagrangeville area

Having DS's baptism in LaGrangeville and looking for a nice venue for a small reception afterward. The Links at Unionvale is already booked and I am not too familiar with the area to know what other nice options are around. Any suggestions?

Awww...that stinks...that is where I got married...love that place.

I have never been but from separate sources heard great things about Anthony's catering....they have a separate room and the food is supposed to be really good. One party was a birthday and the other a bridal shower.

Are you having it at Blessed Kateri? How many people? How long of a drive are you wanting? What kind of price range? We have had a few parties after wards in Wingdale the ride is short but over a big mountain.

Yup...Blessed Kateri! We're having about 30 people. As for the ride, not too long but I know in this area sometimes a drive is necessary! Not looking for anything fancy, but maybe $25 or so pp?

I am not familiar with Wingdale at all (totally new to this area) but am interested to hear your suggestions!

try Tinas they are a pizza/ restaurant place, on rt 55 close to where rt 55 and noxon rd meet in poughkeepsie, it would be about a 15 minute drive. they have great food.

Totally agree with Il Compare--they are fantastic!! They will do a party either on Saturday or Sunday during the day. It can be a sit down or a buffet--I looked into it for my daughters baptism, but ended up having to many people!! The owners name is Karen and she is FANTASTIC to work with!!

Building is beautiful, but food is ehhh! Went when the reopened and haven't been back since. At that time they still had no liquor license.

only been once with hubby but had a great time...sat in the bar area and ordered mostly specials (they sounded sooo good) and we both enjoyed the specialty cocktails. there was some sort of party going on when we were there in the main dining room but not 30 people but they could definitely accomodate it
