Hi all... I feel stupid posting this since I'm from the DC area (Springfield, VA), but I haven't lived their since I was 18 and only go back to visit once every couple years, so I'm not familiar with the current cool things to do. ![]()
Anyway, I have friends from the UK who are going to be visiting DC for several days, and they asked me for recs, therefore, I'm asking you! I was going to tell them to try and get to Georgetown and Old Towne, but if anyone has any specific restaurants/bars/touristy things to do, I would really appreciate it! They love good food and wine/beer, like museums and such, and are generally active people if that helps at all. TIA for any advice!
