I'm trying to help Cindy.... she said she just can't write/post right now. =(
Who was your OB/GYN doctor? Would you recommend them? She needs to find a new DR. Womens Health Services doesn't even want to see her....
If anyone else can recommend their ob/gyn please let me know! Thank you.
Re: grinnysgirl
*butting in* That is really disappointing about WHS!! I had them for both my girls and I know a lot of others who have used them with no issues.. That is crap that they don't want to see her when the poor thing can't even keep a sip of water down!!
Shea- I am so glad that you are helping Cindy. Please tell her that I am thinking of her. I have no experience with this, but I see Fahnlander, and she is great. Hope she or Grinnysgirl's doc can help!
Oh- and meant to get back to you sooner. Took yesterday off because have been having a migraine since Sunday. Will email you to catch up.
Ugh the poor thing! It spirals out of control so quickly. I am so disappointed that WHS won't see her. That is just awful. Hyperemesis is very dangerous and her dehydration CANNOT be left untreated. She most likely will end up hospitalized if she does not get treatment FAST.
My OB was absolutely wonderful and his name is Dr. John Houghton. He is at the Iowa Clinic. I have a text into him now to see if he could see her ASAP. Would you mind PMing me her first/last name so I can let him know? I am not sure if he is in surgery or not today but hopefully he can help or at least refer her to someone who can. It may be too late to get the PICC placed today but hopefully tomorrow she could get it done. I will update as soon as I hear from him or she could definitely call Iowa Clinic herself if she doesn't want to wait. 875-9290 is the phone number for the West Lakes office.
