Anyone car shop at Lindsey Ford of Wheaton?
Good morning ladies,
Now that we've decided to lay Big Red (my '96 honda civic that I love dearly) to rest we're looking at a new car and we came across this dealership. They're off of Veirs Mill Rd. and I figured I'd take a chance and see if anyone has ever purchased a car from them before. We're test driving a couple models this weekend. Thanks in advance!

We bought our expedition there last summer. We shopped around the entire dc area- hit every ford dealer (so exhausting). What we were told at the end of driving around to numerous places (by one of our friends) is to use the am ex buying program, since we are members, and they guarantee the price. So that's what we did. We printed out the price am ex quoted us for the truck, went in and got it within an hour. We had been negotiating with the dealer in I think Waldorf and it exhausted us. We walked out on them. Anyway- not much haggling at Veirs Mill. We knew what we wanted and were happy with the price Am Ex quoted and they stuck with it.
The sales guy seemed to be new. Obviously didn't have to do much work with us. We walked in and said this is what we want, this is the price we want to pay. Do you have it in stock? Truck was coming in the next day and manager had to agree to price per amex...

If this is the one at University Blvd and Veirs Mill...
I haven't bought a car from them but I did use their body shop a few years ago for some repairs after DH backed into a concrete pillar in a parking lot. I was not pleased at all with the service I had or the initial round of repairs. Hopefully the quality of the body shop is not indicative of their sales staff!
