Steam cleaning or steam mop
We recently started laying tile in all the common area's of the house, but the living room and bedrooms with have pergo wood floors. We have 6 dogs, and they are indoor outdoor, so the grout will need some cleaning. I've been looking at steam cleaners, and steam mops... Not sure which would be better, or what kind to get. Any suggestions?

I have a Haan steam mop that I use on all my tile and sealed hardwood floors. Works great!
Not sure if it can be used on Pergo. Hopefully someone else can advise on that.
I have both, but I wouldn't suggest either as a magic solution for cleaning grout.
If I were you, I'd pick a dark grout color, seal it, and clean it the old fashioned way (hands and knees with a scrub brush) as necessary.
I wouldn't try to use a handheld steamer to clean flooring. It would take forever and the results will likely be less than desirable.
