I post this because it's not a very big MA thing. It's sill maybe 40 miles from me, but heading toward us. It did already touch down in W MA (Vikki, did you guys see it/ feel it in CT?)
H is on route home. Besides going to the basement and staying in the middle of the room, what else do you do if it is near you?

Re: we have a tornado watch
The Sand in My Snow Boots
DUCK is our favorite phrase from April to July.
Downstairs
Underneath something
Cover your head
Keep in shelter until storm has passed
Hope you guys stay safe.
Stay safe!!
So far, we're ok right here, but other parts of the state of got a little bit. We're under tornado watch until 8pm, and its hot, sticky, windy, and the sky looks like it's about to fall.

Yup, in eastern MA we just had tremendous amounts of rain, thunder, and lightening and some messed up looking clouds!! But other than that, business as usual. Dumbass me actually got a car wash yesterday afternoon, too. Whoops.
It is terrible out in W Mass and Central Mass though- 4 fatalities and 3 confirmed tornados...they said they were like the ones you guys get out in the midwest- which are very unlikely to occur in MA...supposedly.
There is a gal, Heather, who used to post on the knot March board- she lives out there and her neighborhood is a wreck.
We're ok, but there are parts of the state that got hit with some bad storms, we only had some minor wind and really hot and gross weather. Considering I'm only 60 miles from Springfield, I'm greatful that we're safe and sound.
Jax, how did you guys make out in the Boston area?

Ha! We posted around the same time- my update is above. We fared well- just lots of T&L and rain and some hail. No people hurt/street/house/yard damage thank goodness..!
Glad you're ok, and what a good way to get the car washed, I did mine on Monday, so I feel your pain
The news from Springfield was scary last night.
