Anyone been to see Bridesmaids

If so what did you think?  My friend and I are thinking about going this weekend.

Re: Anyone been to see Bridesmaids

  • I thought it was really funny. There was definitely some crude/dirty humor in it, so just a warning if that's not your thing.

  • I haven't seen it yet, but I want to soon.

I'm hoping over July 4th weekend, we can leave DD w/ my folks overnight and go to see it.

Ditto!!!  Def crude/dirty humor.  It's slow in parts but it's cute and pretty funny!!

  • I didn't enjoy it.  Most people like it though.  I don't care for the crude humor.

  • I saw it two weekends ago with two of my girlfriends.  We all thought it was hilarious.  Not your typical chick flick at all.

  • I really liked it! Like PPs said, there is a lot of crude humor, and it does drag a bit in places. But overall, really enjoyable. Kristin Wiig was fantastic and so was that big girl who's in lots of the promos (I'm sorry for calling her that, I can't think of her name at all!).

Her name is Melissa McCarthy. I love her. She plays on Mike and Molly and I especially loved her as Sookie St James in Gilmore Girls.

DH and I went to see Bridesmaids but we ran into technical problems. (The theater started playing the wrong movie and it was going to take 45 minutes at least to play the right one) I am hoping to see it soon. I have heard the movie be referred to as the female version of The Hangover.
