Wow, having a chest freezer is SO convenient!! Stock up on lots of ice cream!! Oh yeah, and all the great meats on sale
My favorite birthday present was last year, when hubby surprised me with a beautiful Burberry bag. It was my 30th birthday, but it was 3 days before our wedding, and money was obviously tight, and he kept telling me that he wasn't going to get me anything. And, honestly, I was fine with that. But then he surprised me with a beautiful bag and card, and I was TRULY surprised. The fact that he picked it out by himself gave him extra bonus points!!
First off, I'm jealous of your freezer. After we got the new washer and dryer last fall, the old washer is till next to them, and are hopefully getting that out like this weekend, so we can buy an upright freezer. SO excited! My two freezers on my two fridges (one in kitchen...one in laundry room) are so full I couldn't fit another thing!
So, I have to say that my favorite birthday present was when Jeff got me the movie Knocked Up...only for the fact that when my mom asked me that morning what Jeff got me for my birthday I could say, "Knocked Up." hahaha. This was before we were married, so you can appreciate my humor in it...she didn't though...
that's hilarious! love it!

Cool post! Every year for my birthday, we have a tradition of going away. Before we lived together, we always took a week off and spent it down in Duck at our place, but since we got the house and all that goes with that, we've scaled back to just a 3 or 4 day weekend away.
I always pick the place, and we stay in a really nice select registry B&B...I really love this tradition, because it's usually our last getaway before we have to start thinking about the holidays and all. Last year we spent a long weekend at the Bellmoor Inn on Rehoboth Beach, and had a blast! Which reminds me...time to start thinking about this year's b-day weekend :-)

I usually don't get anything on my birthday...it's always when we need something so we buy it and and then say "this will be for your birthday. Happy early Birthday!" Not so much fun!
