Jess might have better advice on building up a stash b/c she had a good one and I didn't but everything I read suggested pumping after feedings to start building up a stash (and increases supply while you're at it). Mornings are best since as you know, supply in the am is best. Or you could throw another one in in the middle of the night when she starts to sleep longer at night.
You can mix milk of the same temperature so if you pump several little amounts put them in the fridge and then mix them to make a larger amount then freeze. If freezing in bags put them in flat to make more room.
I'll likely think of other things if you're interested. I have a handy list about storing and using BM.
Re: Mar
i have a pretty good stash! i always pumped an hr after i fed her to increase my supply. am's are always best! i never pumped in the middle of the night because honestly, if she was sleeping, there was no way in hell i was getting up to pump. i also wanted my boobs to regulate so i didn't want to start telling them i needed more milk in the middle of the night.
i did exactly what summer said. i pumped throughout the day and then measured them into bottles and then into the freezer bags. don't go buy the measurements on the bags, they aren't correct. it's more common to have to combine different sessions to make a bottle than to be able to pump a full bottle. i also froze them flat. make sure when you defrost them you stick them in a freezer bag in case of leakage. it will make you cry the first time that happens. they do puncture easy so this its important to be prepared to catch it!
once i went back to work i nursed her when she woke up, pumped an hr after that (i still get a great session out of this one), then pumped everytime she ate. i had my mom text me so i knew. again, i wanted to regulate to i pumped on her schedule. i pumped at 11, 2, and 4. then i nursed her before bed and then i pumped before i went to bed. i still maintain this pumping schedule today except i dropped the session at 4.
let me know if you have any questions!
eta: she drank 2.5-3 oz bottles only for a short time. she then went to 4 oz. now she drinks 5 oz. don't worry about having to pump big bags. if you are using a frozen bag that's less than what she drinks, once it's defrosted you can add a few ounces of newer milk that is cold but not frozen yet.

Yeah, there was no way in H E double hockey sticks I was going to get up in the middle of the night to pump for the same reasons you said. I know people do though, I'm pretty sure Rebecca did. She was neurotic about her stash/pumping like we are (were) too so she might have some tips here too.
I had my mom call/text me to tell me when C was eating too! Funny.

You know, I don't know why I never thought of that... we use epsom salt soaks for ponies with hurt hooves, lol. I'll try that and then put this rx cream on it. This cream has iboprofen, and a steroid plus lots of anti bacteria/antifungals in it, and my one nipple looked a little purple this morning, but after applying the cream its pretty and pink again haha. I'm petrified of getting thrush... I change my pads all the time!

yeah i was like that too for a few weeks then it mellowed out (thank god). after week 3 i never leaked again. i would squeeze some out or dip the corner of a washcloth into the pumped milk and rub it into the nipple. it was more of a saturation and massaged into the nipple that helped rather than just it leaking out.
once you begin pumping after you feed her it should get better as you regulate!
