I feel like we've talked about this before (what haven't we talked about after all these years!?), but do you guys have bumper stickers on your cars? I like to laugh at funny ones people have but would never put one on my car.
What made me think of this is all the ooooold campaign bumper stickers people have stuck to their cars. I just think it's funny to see a Clinton sticker from the 90s on a car. Or worse, of someone who lost!

Re: Bumper Stickers
*Summer* I always wonder why people don't take those off after the election, like I guess I get it to a point but once it starts peeling take that thing off. I would never do it myself.
Oh I really am not a big fan of the family window decals. ESPECIALLY the crazies that have names over the stick figures!!! It's like shouting come kidnap my kid or something IMO.
omg, yes! I think some are cute b/c they can be funny but yeah, putting your kid's name and their activities (i.e. soccer ball) is not a smart idea.
I totally thought they were cute when I first saw them and still sort of do (our checks have us and the dogs actually) but the first time I saw the names I really started thinking the entire thing is not a very good idea.
The stick figure things are ALL OVER HERE. Oh and so are all the sports ones with the names too. Plus in VA everyone seems to have a vanity tag, so we even have some that are "Susie's Mom" etc. Drives me bonkers.
hijack: DH being a former police officer doesn't like vanity tags that have your name or something can be misconstrued. So even before my BIL got married to SIL she went and reserved "S Lastname." DH wasn't too happy b/c once we got married I would have the same initial and my first name would come before hers. Not much we can do about it, but he still doesn't understand the liability.
I have an OBX sticker on the top of my back windshield and a magnet that says "I love my Austrailian Shepherd."

Lol, Shaina! Everyone in VA does have vanity tags. I've heard vanity tags in VA are much cheaper than in other states. Being near a base there are sooo many out of state tags and VA ones are the only ones (generally) that are vanity. I agree, you have to be very careful with those. Nick hates the ones that say "MYJETTA" like duh, we know it's a Jetta and we know it's yours.
and lol again, I notice everyone around here has an OBX sticker too
I have one of those stickers on my windows with my initials. I wanted to get one of the 13.1 ones for the half marathon that I ran, but I'm not sure if it's cool or not.
I laugh at people/feel sorry for people who still have the McCain/Palin stickers. Bless their hearts. They just don't know any better probably.
Yes, VA vanity tags are super cheap. I remember in MD, no one had them b/c they are like $100/year, but VA is like $25 or something like that.
We joke at work that everyone that has like "2hot4u" or "sexygrl" are really fugly or trying waaaaayyy too hard, lol!

OMG, the Ron Paul stickers!! DH has a girl he went through a training with whose husband took their perfectly nice honda civic and plastered the entire thing in Ron Paul stickers. It was FUGLY!

I have two window decals on my escape, both are all white, ones a pit bull and says "I love my pitbull". The other is an appaloosa and says "dont worry be appy" (my horse is an appy). We also have a bumper sticker on there that says "my pit bull is smarter than your honor student".
On my truck, I have a sticker that says EQS for equis. And on the window behind the drivers seat (its an extended cab) theres a decal that says "silly cowboy, trucks are for cowgirls" I also have one that says "this cowgirl needs more than an 8 sec ride" but never got the guts to put it on. Oh! and I have a magnet on the tailgate thats HUGE and says GO SKINS!
The window decals are stuck on, but the bumper stickers I stick them on magnets so I can take them off without ruining the paint underneath. I started doing that because of all the outdated presidential candidate stickers.

. The half/marathon ones are cool - get one! I'll admit, for the longest time I had no clue what they meant. Then I saw one that had a running store sticker too and put it together.
Sadly, the Pauls are from here where I live. His son, Rand, is now a Kentucky Senator. Two words: WHACK ADOODLE. Seriously, the whole brood is crazy.
I hate the stick figure family stickers, especially when they have names and activities they do.
I have an alumni sticker in my rear window and will soon have a Red Sox B in the window as well - once I find it again.
I see a ton of vanity plates from NH. It seems like that is the Vanity Plate capital of New England.
I still haven't put my alumni sticker back on since we got the new car. But that's all I have on mine. DH used to have one the said "earth first, we'll screw up the other planets later". But that went when we got his new car last year. I love the "coexist" ones.

I dont have any on my car currently. I do have a Red Sox B and Patriots logo window decals but they have not made it to my car yet.
Shelly I agree with the vanity plates from NH. It seems like every car has one. They are expensive here in MA and a waste of money to me.
We dont because I am always afraid we will want to sell it and not be able to get them off. The only ones that are acceptable to me are ones for our college football team.
I am not a fan of the stick figure ones either.
