Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I'm pretty dumb sometimes
So last night I went out to dinner with my BFF and Jason went over to a friend's apartment; I got home a couple hours before Jason did and from the second I walked in the door I could hear a faint/muffled talking/music. We usually can't hear our neighbors talking or their music through the walls so I figured someone must be outside; I glanced out the windows and didn't see anyone. I then walked back to the bedroom thinking Jason left the TV on in there, but nope. Eventually I ignored it and went on with my night. After I got out of the shower I could really hear it again, so I got a little freaked thinking maybe someone was in our apartment. Our apartment is small and we only have 3 closets, all of which are packed full so even if someone wanted to hide in there, they physically couldn't, so there went that idea. I then came to the most logical explanation, that it must be a ghost. I sat down at the dining room table to paint my nails with my new ghost friends and I could really hear the music/talking. I then listened more carefully and realized I knew what was being said. I opened my purse and found that my ipod had accidently got turned on and the talking/music I was hearing was my ipod on shuffle coming out of my ear phones. I had to stop and laugh at myself.

I'm having some issues with our front door recently. Last week I forgot to take the keys of out the front door when I came home from work. Since I have multiple sets, I didn't realize they were missing until I came home the next day. Yep, the keys where in the door (luckily inside the building, not the outside door) for 24 hrs.
Tuesday night after exercise I picked up some dry cleaning, since it's literally two doors down, I just unlocked the doors and didn't bring any keys. Wed morning DH emails me to say that I never locked the door when I came home. Whoopsie!

I'm pretty dumb most of the time, to be quite honest. I can't think of any specific examples at the moment for some reason, but I'm forever asking myself why the heck I did what I just did...

I find I've been a little absent-minded lately... yesterday and today, I got home to find that I had left lights on in the basement.
I use the stapler at work and go to use it again and can't find it... I can't spell for crap, lately... I drop things repeatedly...
I expect it to get worse.
And I'm still convinced there is someone in my basement when I'm home alone!
