As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Twitter Peeps
Ok, so do I really need to jump on this bandwagon? I have a BB so I can do it from my phone, but will I get a ton of alerts if I follow people?
I looked to see about a username this morning and one of the suggestions is McShaina, which made me LOL.

I just put twitter on my phone and I have yet to get any notifications. I might set it up only to receive them from friends and not celebs/news i follow. I also agree that I don't want to get a million notifications every time CNN posts something.
Also I like McShaina. I think you are stuck with it now!

Alright, consider me peer pressured, McShaina is not on Twitter.
I am following one place, Busch Gardens b/c I've heard they tweet ticket deals.
But so far no notices on my phone.

I don't think it's a secret that I'm a twitter addict. Several of my friends have their phones alert them when someone mentions them, but that would drive me CRAZY! I just check it abut every hour or so.
Oh, and (I tell all new twitter people this) I totally understand if you don't want to follow me-- I can be overwhelming if you're not following very many people because I tweet a lot and I definitely don't want to eat up every bit of someones stream.

And, if you decide tweet from your computer, I recommend either:
HootSuite or TweetDeck (tweetdeck is my favorite)

So if I'm following someone/something and they are tagged then it shows up in my feed?
I am seeing some randoms that I know I'm not following, but it looks like the tagged things I am following?
