What to do...on Fathers day?
I'm really at a loss on how i'm going to handle fathers day this year...the first of many without my dad 
To make matter worse, my mom is working that whole day, and I'm on call so i can't even leave my freaking house.
I'm not religious so its not like i'll be praying for him or something like that, that could make me feel less crappy about the day if i was into that kind of stuff...
UGH. im so NOT looking forward to that weekend

Ooo deb i like that idea. I really did want to plant a nice flowering tree in my front yard....maybe ill do it!

Also, if you're able to - you could just go pay your dad's gravesite a visit, just to say hi. Maybe plant a few flowers for him there too.
I would, but his ashes are still at my mom's house. She has not decided what she wants to do w/ them yet. And i can't leave my house/yard due to being on stupid pager that weeend. yuck.

Oh right. Well, then plant away in your own yard!! Did your dad have a certain tree/flower that he liked? Maybe you could plant one of those
