Combined shower/sprinkle ?
A friend of mine (my MOH actually) just had her 3rd child and someone in her IL family is throwing a shower/sprinkle for her. But it is a combined celebration for her and her SIL who is having a baby very soon. I have met her SIL once. I've never been to a combined shower like this. Is it expected that you bring a gift for the other mother even though I really don't know her?
Re: Combined shower/sprinkle ?
I probably would take something small, like a gift bag with some cute bibs and burb cloths. Something that is inexpensive but needed.
On a personal note, I probably would never throw a combined shower just because people are going to know one or the other person and feel obligated or not comfortable buying gifts for an unknown person. Plus, it also can make the ladies uncomfortable if one person gets more gifts than the other. It just seems weird to me.
