I'm mostly a lurker here, but I have a question for those of you in the FW area. What is your average water bill? My husband and I live in an apartment complex that sub meters the water. We supposedly just pay for our usage. Our bill runs around $50 for just the two of us. This is only water and wastewater. It doesn't include trash, that is a separate fee. I'm trying to get an idea of how this compares to others' bills in the area. Thanks!
Re: Water bill
We aren't in FW, but we also live in an apartment and our water only runs us about $30/month.
We're in a house in FW, and our water bill is $50 a month, not including garbage.
ETA: We have to water our house a few times a week in the summer, but only when it's over 100 degrees. (Built on clay, shifting ground, something like that). We don't water our lawn, ever, although we probably should. Now you all are making me think our bill might be too high too!
Bio Good Times
Hi. I live in a house in Keller, but pay Fort Worth water. There are two of us and we run our sprinkler system on odd numbered days. For water, wastewater and trash...we usually pay about $70 a month in the summer and $40 during non-watering times.
Your bill sounds high to me
We're on Fossil Creek and I've looked into several complexes in the Fossil Creek/Western Center/Beach area. Most of the complexes have given an average of $25-$40. The only places that have said around $50 include the trash.
Thanks for the responses; I'm trying to get an idea of what others are paying before I contact the management company.
