1. Which state do you consider to be the most boring state? Probably Alaska. I've had a few friends in the military stationed there and they've had nothing good to say about the state.
2. If any chef from the Food Network (or any well known chef) could cater your wedding, who would it be? I would have loved for Bobby Flay to cater my wedding.
3. Have you ever questioned the sexuality orientation of a close friend? Yes. DH's best friend from HS came to visit us right after my FIL passed away. All of DH's roommates told me that this friend acted like he was gay, but DH swore he wasn't since this friend had a live-in girlfriend. Sure enough though, a year later, the friend came out. It was shock only to DH, but obviously didn't change their friendship.
4. Everyone loses a friend after some big fight. Tell us about one. My bestie from 1st grade on was shy and overweight and that inhibited her from forming many relationships. In hindsight, she was actually a super negative person. During sophomore year of HS, I got my first boyfriend, and that put a strain on our friendship due to jealousy. During junior year, I still had same bf, but we didn't have the same lunch period. One day, bestie and I were eating lunch together with a lot of friends. Her crush came to our table and sat down beside me while I was in the middle of a story. He and I exchanged pleasantries and that was that. Bestie gave me the cold-shoulder for the rest of the day and after school at band practice, went apesh*t on me accusing me of cheating on my bf with her crush.
5. Have you ever washed anything in the washing machine by accident? I washed DH's phone during our honeymoon in the washing machine provided in our condo.
6. Have you ever screamed / yelled angrily at a boss? Yes. My last boss was a former hippie and she probably lost a few brain cells to drugs during that time in her life. She was the quintessential cat lady and liked to micromanage. She would measure the space between packages in our stockroom to make sure they were perfectly aligned and threatened to fire me one day in front of the entire store because the stockroom was messy.

8. Have you ever regretted being in a relationship with someone? No. I've learned something from every relationship. I just regret how I ended them.

12. When was the last time you had to sleep with a light on? In March during Spring Break. DH and I were traveling and stayed in a hotel. If I'm in an unfamiliar place, I have to have a light left on.13. When was the last time you were under some serious stress? This weekend. DH and I had a convo about me wanting to finish school or go ahead and start a family. Degree won out!

Probably North or South Dakota. I don't know why...they just seem to be in the middle of no where to me. No offense to anyone who may live there.

A guy that I worked with at my part time job. I always wondered if he was gay...just acted feminine and had more girls as friends than guys (not that there is anything wrong with that). He eventually did come out....and I felt like I got a bit better at my gaydar (which I'm usually AWFUL at).

I have lost many friends in my past...it's quite sad actually. One friend of mine in undergrad and part of grad school stopped talking to me b/c she found out that I had gotten engaged (to an ex)on AIM. I had wanted to tell her in person and we had made plans to have lunch before school started. One of her relatives passed away days before our lunch date and we were never able to reschedule. She never forgave me for waiting almost a month to tell her. I always thought it was a bit ridiculous...but to each their own.

Nothing major...knock on wood. I did find a pen from a pair of DH's pants in the washing machine just last night. Thankfully it was still in tact and no damage was done.

Nah...not really. I try not to regret choices I have made, but learn from them instead. Can't change the past.

No need...people usually assume I'm younger than I am.

I bought a HOT pair of wedge sandals yesterday from Target that I totally don't need. I love them though. :-)

It's been a while...but it was when DH and I watched an intense thriller movie (called Pirhanas). It was OVERLY gory...I went to sleep with the lights on while DH finished the movie in another room. I HATE those kinds of movies!
13. When was the last time you were under some serious stress?
This whole entire school year. I have one student in particular who get anxious very easily. His anxiety leads to anger and that anger sends him into super ragtastic temper tantrums. It's been a very long school year and there are 2 weeks left....June 17th can't get here fast enough!
14. When was the last time you watched your favorite movie?
I don't watch movies as often as I should or could. I can't even remember the last time I watched a movie that I had already seen before. :-/ Summer to do # 1 :-)

Yeeeahhh...I haven't done that in a while either...unless you count the kid friendly songs that I downloaded for the school talent show in March. I kinda don't though since it was work related.

I agree with Alaska, although I enjoyed that '90s show about it, and Sarah Palin does add a little bit of an interesting aspect to the state. Still, if given a chance for a one week trip to any state for free, I would never pick Alaska.

Let me turn it around though: If I had a choice of any of the designers from the HGTV channel to decorate my house, it would have to be the guy from Splash of Color. He rocks and paints the paintings for all of the people on the show.

Yah, up until he told me he has been wanting me since we met. It was weird because I ended up dating him for a while. Turned out his twin brother was gay and the one with strong character, so my friend took on a lot of his expressions and voice patterns (not sure how to better describe it).

Yep - this one girl wanted me to break up with a guy I was daing for three years. He started cheating on me in the last year, made me feel like crap and I should have really ended it up earlier. It was not that easy and my friend and I had a huge fight during which I told her that she was a controlling b*tch. She did not take that well.

Yes, I dated this dude for a short time right before my DH, and he got me HPV. I have been HPV free for over 3 years now, but still remember the fear I felt when I found out.

Well, in corporate America, you have to be nice to everyone, and pretend you like some people you don't... it's not an effort though, I just listen to what they say and remember that. People think you like them when you remember what they told you about themselves.

I just ate the last piece of string cheese. DH will come back from darts and ask about it, I know it. He always eats it.

I never sleep with the light on, I can't fall asleep with any light, even a little outlet light. I need total darkness. However, the moment I wake up and need to go to the bathroom, I need the lights on... I have a crazy imagination and see monsters everywhere.

I am now - in my line of business, and at our company, we are in the last month of our fiscal year and every penny counts. I love being in sales, but June usually sucks.

A few months ago, when DH went to a darts night, I Netflixed Dirty Dancing. I love that movie.

Yup, quit a job like that. I had just had a break-up and he forgave me.

I look back and wonder how I could have been so stupid. But these are the relationships that got me where I am today, and I like where am, so no regrets.

Yes....sometimes. But not for anything important.

I'm not very good at making small talk with people I don't like. But sometimes, you just have to. I have never pretended long term that I liked someone that I didn't.

I get guilt ridden very easily. But a couple of weeks ago I got a neck massage, as it was very sore. DH said I could, so I didn't feel guilty.

Last week, DH was on night shift, and about 2am I got up to go to the bathroom, didn't feel tired when I came back so put the tv and the light on. I went to sleep right away and woke up with both still on at 5.30am. Turned everything off so DH was none the wiser when he got home a 6am.
13. When was the last time you were under some serious stress?
Last night. I have so much to do right now, and I feel like I keep dropping the balls I am trying to juggle. Work Work, Study, Planning a Friends Wedding, Planning a group holiday, keeping the house tidy for buyers inspections, helping my boss source clothing suppliers for her new business. Too much, too much!! But still less stressful than the couple of days before and including the wedding, but for way different reasons.
