What's your favorite thing about...

Summer time?

I think mine is just the laid back feel the summer seems to have, and that everyone seems to have during this time of year.

And the wardrobe!! I love summer clothes...sundresses, skirts, cute wedges.

Oh, and the pool!

It's really slow in here today, trying to pick it up a little!

Re: What's your favorite thing about...

  • I agree, the laid back attitude.  Ample country concerts abound. :)

Also, barbeques, sno cones, flip flops, the lake, the happy sunshine all the time.  It's just fun and carefree.

    Totally!

  • The lake, sno-cones, and baseball season!
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • The pool, being able to drive with my sunroof open, sno-cones (we didnt have these in Omaha except at the fair), not having to worry about the weather for what I am going to wear or do, and for sure the clothes.  I get semi depressed in winter because of the clothes and I just hate being all covered up.  I wear skirts 7 days a week so winter is a little chilly for me.

I know you didnt ask but I hate that school is out in the summer and the kids everywhere.  Mostly its just the ones who have parents that let them run around all day.

    Omaha is MEAN!

I love snow cones.  I love the warm weather, wearing my hair curly/wavy/frizzy, lighter work load at work, flip flops, skirts, pool time, sunshades (who am I kidding, I wear these in the winter, too), longer days, more fun on the weekend, vacations, bike riding, project filled, less traffic... FUN!

    I completely agree. 100%.

I had never even seen a sno-cone stand until I moved here.

I hate the frizz and pay for brazillian blowouts to get rid of it!

Longer days for sure.  I hate winter for that reason I cannot stand driving home in the dark at 5:30pm.

  • Baseball.

Paciugo (just had my first of the season).

The week of July 4 I take off every year for vacation.

Our dating anniversary on June 30.

    June weddings!  :)

That's probably it.  Summer isn't my favorite.

  • Summer isn't my favorite so I had to think about this one... here it goes:

    Flip Flops

    BBQs

    Swimming

    Long summer days

    Watermelon/strawberries/etc

Road trips (which are really anytime of the year)

  • Oh yeah, I guess I should add this one: Our anniversary! Forgot about that, since this year is our first one!

  • Snowcones - I had my first yesterday, being outdoors, swimming etc
  • Summer is dead last on my list of favorite seasons so I had to think about this too:  Rescue Me, variety of produce (and it's cheap too!) and that it is 8:30 and it's still light outside.
  • Um, I heard about that concert you were talking about Summer.  I AM SO EXCITED.  I love Texas country.
  • Can I add my LEAST favorite thing about summer?

    MOSQUITOS

Ugh, I was eaten alive last night when watering the lawn.
