Ok ladies - I need your help. I (along with 2 others) am throwing my sisters baby shower next month, in Omaha. I need help with what to do for food - as it will all need to be ordered as none of us are from Omaha. My sister wants to do more "brunch" type food(s) as the shower is at 10:00. There is a Hy-Vee close to the location of the shower. I really want to do something neat/special, as I take my food/party-throwing very seriously! However, I feel so limited as I would generally prepare everything myself. Help!!

Re: Baby Shower - Food
You could do fun things with fruit. Cheesecake filled strawberries. (or chocolate filled, etc.) Or...Maybe something from Edible Arrangements? That would probably travel pretty well. Maybe they have one there too.
I've seen a watermelon carved to look like a baby buggy. You could do a fruit salad in there.
Maybe cinnamon rolls with pink or blue tinted frosting?
I think this is cute! Check out HyVee's online catering guide.
