Watermelon
Well I've been waiting three weeks (thirty seven, actually!) for my ticker to become a watermelon...and it turned over this morning!
I remember someone (I think Brooke?) pointing it out a long time ago...that the ticker ends at a watermelon, and I had a hard time imagining that. I can say that he definitely feels like a watermelon in there most of the time! Every once in a while he'll sit further back or something, and he feels less huge. But for the most part...I no longer have to imagine!
Oh, and he's full term now!

Wow. I'm so lame. I'm over here feeling all sentimental that this stage is almost over for "us" hahaha I just really can't believe he's almost here! I feel like this time flew by and I'm so excited for you and your husband to meet this little man!

Ha, and here I thought this post was going to be about picking out watermelon at the store and/or how much you love it. I just got a great one this week and now I'm going to be thinking about you as I eat it! Lol.

Congrats on being full-term! Are you more ready to share him with the world now that you're full-term? Or still wanting to keep him to yourself?

Getting fit for IVF!
There are some days that I feel like it's gone by really fast, and others that it seems like it's been so long since we found out...a good balance of the two, I guess.
Becca - if it's a weekend, I always disappear from TN because I'm not on my computer at all, so don't get too excited. Haha!
Hannah - I'm ready to share him with Chris, and totally ready to meet him, but I still like him where he is, and I'm definitely not ready to share him with ALL the people that are going to come visit and want to hold him for hours on end. I still get major anxiety every time I think about it.
I've already told my parents that they can be there when he's being born, but then they need to leave for a few hours so Chris and I can bond with him by ourselves before everyone else comes in. He needs to tell his family the same thing. I think it's crazy important that we get that time by ourselves.
It's funny...when my nephew was born, I remember thinking how sad it was for my sister and her husband that they didn't have family there to visit right away. Now I wish I lived far away so that no one could come for a few days.
Can you tell how selfish I am???

Thanks Brooke! I would have my husband take the pictures but since he's a foot or so taller than me, he always takes the worst angles. So I'm better off doing it myself!
