Yay for Friday! This week has been weird. Slow but fast at the same time. I'm glad it's Friday.
I got a new dress at H&M last night to wear to the Lion King tomorrow, now I just have to figure out how to accessorize it. I may ask for some Aug09 help on that one later. I also go my haircut last night and I'm loving it. Long-ish in the front, short in the back. It's like a reverse mullet.
What's everyone up to this weekend?

Busy weekend ahead. Tomorrow I'm singing at the ordination in the morning, playing a wedding in the afternoon, and then singing in a concert in the evening. Sunday is my baby shower! It'll be small... friends only since our families don't really do showers... but I'm still really looking forward to it.
raynes, have fun at The Lion King. We loved the show! I practically cried through the entire first half but that's probably from the hormones.

Right now I have 3 puppies running around in the yard. My friend dropped off Poppins for the weekend. Today is my fake new year, I decided the last half of my 28th year sucked so much that I'm starting over. I'm going to go to Zumba soon, and then I'm getting my hair done. Tonight we're grilling out with some friends.

I am so glad its friday even though I am working for a few hours saturday night. I am looking forward to going to a friends house tonight and helping her plan a baby shower for her sister in law while the kids play.

Last night we played some trivia with friends and then got home way too late so I am tired today. It was worth it to see friends though.
Today is another normal day for me and then not sure what is in store for the weekend. Tomorrow, we will probably do some of the usual chores.

Happy Friday! I have a ton of work to get done today so I'm doubting I'll get out of here at noon.
Tomorrow we're going to a small town nearby that is having a festival. In the morning we'll be walking in the parade for my bosses District Attorney campaign and then we're going to go check out some booths and the beer garden. In the evening we'll go to the Rodeo and then probably the street dance.
Sunday I'll be sleeping in then doing my normal Sunday chores. In the evening my parents are coming over for dinner and to help us fix our sprinkler system.

Happy Friday, all. I'm still in job limbo. Still no word from future employer on my background check, and current employer is driving me nuts by singsonging "We're going on our outreach in six weeks!" Well, no, I'm not. I think. I hope, hope they contact me today because I cannot go a third weekend without knowing a thing.
It's been two weeks since I was told I was being offered the job and I can't get anything moving without an offer letter. So agonizing.
This weekend should be okay. Gym, chores, etc. Surprise of surprises, my H wants to go shopping! Holy crap! He needs new dress shirts and shoes. I'm going to duck into NY&Co. and Loft during the trip to get some new work pants.

Morning everyone. I'm so happy it's Friday. Last night B and I met up with a good friend of B's from high school who is in town from Boulder. It was great to catch up and take a break from work for an evening, go out to dinner, and just relax. Plus, I slept ridiculously well last night. So well, that I was a half hour late to work. Oops. That's ok though because people here are pretty flexible--when you're working crazy hours, no one minds if you come in a late or leave early as long as you get done what you need to.
Tonight, B and I are going to see Kung Fu Panda II. I'm super excited--the first one was so cute. Aside from that, not a lot going on this weekend. Hopefully, it will be a relaxing one.
Raynes, enjoy LK. I saw it in Chicago a few years back, and it was wonderful.
MO, I love the idea of a fresh start. Time to move on to happier and better things!
Yay for Friday! The nice thing about being out of the office so much is that it really makes the week fly by.
Our appointment this morning went well; now we just have to wait it out until the 17th.
This weekend I'd like to go to the farmers market again and we have movie passes that expire, so I think a movie must be on the agenda. I have strawberries to make these tomorrow morning and then we have to spend some time sorting out stuff for the church yard sale next week.

Oh, hell no. Coworker showed up with her 6 year old in tow. For the day. And she has strep. Who brings a child with a contagious condition to an office? If it's for a short time until a doctor appt or something, fine. But all day is not cool. At all. Guess I'm keeping my door shut today.

I'm exhausted today after a long night of potty breaks with the dog. She's on steroids, which is making her insanely thirsty, which calls for frequent breaks. We've almost gotten to the bottom of what's causing this platelet problem, but until then, it's lots of medications and a tired momma. She's at work with me today so I can get some stuff done but still take her out when she needs to. Much better than having her home howling all day while I'm gone and peeing everywhere.
I can't wait for this weekend to just relax. DH is gone out of town for work and then out of town again for a bachelor party. It's just me and the zoo for a few days.
Happy Friday indeed. Even with having Monday off, this week still dragged on. Tonight DH & I are going to see Bridesmaids. I have heard good things, but I hope my expectations are not too high.
My in-laws are coming in tomorrow morning - they will be staying with us, along with my sister-in-law and her boyfriend. Full house for us this weekend!

This weekend should be good. Tonight will be pretty lazy. I'm going to try to convince Ed to walk to a local pizza place tonight (though he worked 16 hours yesterday and 11 today, so we'll see how he's feeling...). Tomorrow I'm going to my best friend's book launch (her book is for middle schoolers, called Flutter and is excellent in case anyone wants a quick read....). Then I'll probably hang out with my parents a little bit, pop into a BBQ, and head home. Ed is staying home to mow (or hay) our lawn, because it is getting out of control. Sunday will be grocery shopping and laundry.
