Re: Friday Five
1. Pretty much random, I can remember where they are on the ring.
2. I'm a start packing a week before and keep adding until the night before for everything.
3. Never had a "summer job" because I worked at the coffee shop during the school year and just increased hours in summer. It was great!
4. Personal assistant! They would plan my meals so I wouldn't have to.
5. Dinner out w/friends tonight hopefully, tomorrow errands and tidying up, Sunday just DH's hockey game and BBQ after. Should be fun!

2. When do you pack for a trip (the day of, the night before, or earlier)? I usually plan my outfits a few days before, but don't actually pack until the day before, and toiletries and stuff the day of
3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? Best -- bartender at a restaurant in the Outer Banks Worst -- law clerk at a personal injury firm reading thousands of documents about asbestos
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Trainer!
5. Plans for the weekend? NADA! Praying for beach time!
2. When do you pack for a trip (the day of, the night before, or earlier)? I try to pack earlier but really I get it all done the night before and add on stuff the day of lol.
3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? Worst was probably summer camp because it was SO hot but even that wasnt' bad at all. Best...probably the years that I was in charge of the locks at the high school. My friend and I sat in an air conditioned room w/ bags and bags of locks looking up the combos (using serial numbers) and attaching slips w/ the combo to the lock. Making sure they worked and distributing them to homeroom classrooms for the teachers to hand out. We mostly gabbed and listened to music while working and STILL we were the fastest works they had ever had!
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Oh personal assistant. Then I'd have time to work out on my own! Haha I could totally use someone to do my errands and laundry and random things like going to the post office!
5. Plans for the weekend?Nothing major at the moment. I have a few more flowers to get in the ground so I have to get on that but other then that we don't have any major plans.
2. When do you pack for a trip (the day of, the night before, or earlier)? Usually I'll start by doing laundry a couple days before a trip and putting the items I want to take with me directly into the suitcase. The rest is done the night before, or toiletries the day I leave.
3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? I didn't have any really bad ones. I worked at a CVS in a mall for a few summers, which was boring but fine and paid pretty well. I also worked in a department store one summer which was a little more interesting. The best one I had was when I stayed up in Boston (where I went to college) one summer and worked full time at the job I had during the school year. It was an office job and easy-peasy in the summer, so I goofed around half the day.
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Personal trainer, for sure. Not sure I could totally trust a personal assistant.
5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight: long overdue date night with the hubs, tomorrow going to my nephew's little league playoff game, Sunday morning getting blood drawn to see if the IVF worked, Sunday afternoon either celebrating or crying into a bottle of wine.

2. When do you pack for a trip (the day of, the night before, or earlier)? I always have a goal of packing a week or so in advance, but never quite seem to make it. Usually about one or two days before.
3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? Didn't have a summer job I didn't like. My first job was McD's when I was 15, and I worked there part-time on the weekends and over the summers until I graduated (almost considered a career at that company!), and I actually didn't mind it!
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Hands down, Personal Assistant :-)
5. Plans for the weekend? Chilling out!!! After the last several busy weekends, I am very much looking forward to doing next to nothing!

2. When do you pack for a trip (the day of, the night before, or earlier)? It depends on if it's a weekend get away or a longertrip. I usually pack the night before for a weekend trip but if it's a longer trip I'll start packing a couple of days ahead of time but either way I make lists of what I need to take so I don't forget anything. Yeah, I'm obsessive that way.
3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? Best - being an intern for a chemical co that sold pesticides & herbicides to farmers. I got to travel all over North Carolina. It was so fun!
Worst - working at a temp office filing paperwork all day.
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Trainer so I'd be motivated to get back to the gym.
5. Plans for the weekend? Packing for DISNEY!!!
2. When do you pack for a trip (the day of, the night before, or earlier)? it depends on the trip. If its a long trip I start the week before, if its just for the weekend I usually pack the night before.
3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? I never really had a summer job but I voluteered one year and the worst was volunteering at a nursing home. I have nothing against older people or anything but the particular nursing home I volunteered at was depressing because of the conditions of the home. I'm surprised they havent been shut down to be honest.
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Currently a personal assistant... I feel so behind with everything
5. Plans for the weekend? Friends graduation, graduation party and painting the babys room

3. Working in my mom's office sucked but I made loot... best? lol - how's teaching = no summer job!
4. I love my personal trainer I would not trade him for anything!
5. Ladies night tonight followed by two photo sessions tomorrow, a pedi, then out w/ the boy... Sunday is getting the pool ready and relaxing! Yay for almost summer!

3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? My favorite summer job was probably teaching swim lessons and coaching a special olympics swim team in high school! I don't think I ever had a bad summer job, they usually rocked!
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Personal trainer! That would be wonderful! Plus, I don't like when other people organize my stuff
5. Plans for the weekend? MIL is in town - we are taking her to see Mamma Mia! It should be a blast!

2. When do you pack for a trip (the day of, the night before, or earlier)? It used to be earlier, but I get too excited, and packing just makes that worse. So it just depends on when I am leaving whether it is the night before or day of.
3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? The Best - Glenwood (the local telecommunications company that my mom and Jeff still work for. I was the outside plant guys - technicians - secretary, so that was a lot of fun) / The Worst - Detassling. Ugh. Every kid in Nebraska basically does this at least one summer of their lives. Many kids love it and do it for like 6 summers (like Jeff did), but I got corn rash SO bad, that I barely made it one year (by "year" I mean the two weeks it lasts for). But it pays well. You get like $800 for two weeks!
4. Which would you rather have: a personal assistant or a personal trainer? Oh, personal trainer by FAR! I'm so OCD about everything, that a personal assistant isn't needed...unless of course they would do all my household cleaning, then that. But, I could use a personal trainer to kick my butt every morning! : )
5. Plans for the weekend? Golfing tonight, wedding reception tomorrow night, cleaning/organizing at home on Satur-DAY and all day Sunday.

3. What were the best and worst summer jobs you had? I worked at a grocery store during the school year and it carried into the summer too. I miss that place!
