I think the rest of us just need to start asking you questions...

    - What's your fav food?  My favorite type of food is mexican, I'll pretty much eat anything mexican.  I also looooovee pizza.

    - What's your fav restaurant? (Can you tell I'm hungry :-P )  My favorite restaurant is Chevy's...mmmm

    - Favorite moment of your wedding day?  My favorite moment from our wedding was the beginning of the ceremony.  We wrote our ceremony so I know what was said but I don't remember hearing it actually being said at all because Jason just kept whispering to me "You look so beautiful, I love you so much, I'm so happy" over and over again with the biggest smile on his face.  It's so special to me because it's not something that was captured in pictures and not something most guests could hear (my BM's did and cried like babies lol) so it was a really nice moment between the two of us and the thing I remember most.

    - What do you consider to be the biggest challenge you have had to overcome in life?  I'd say the biggest challenge I've had to overcome in my life would be realizing that I am just fine being exactly who I am regardless of what other people think.  My family is extremely superficial and really do think looks are one of the most important things in life.  Growing up I remember getting yelled at by my Mom if I didn't wear makeup to the beach, or not being allowed to wear my hair in a pony tail because my face was 'too fat; I was also never allowed to get my hair cut because I was 'too fat" for short hair.  I was very shy and felt like crap about myself for a long time which I actually think is the reason I ended up being kind of slutty when I was really young; I thought if guys wanted to bang me then I had to at least be 'ok' looking.  It wasn't until I was 19 that I basically said "screw you" to my family and got some confidence.  Less than a month after I moved out of my Mom's house and into a dorm in college, I cut my hair short and started looking and dressing how I wanted.  I started feeling great about myself and have never stopped since.  I still get the occasional comment from my family about the way I look but I just don't let it bother me anymore.  And I never ever wear makeup to the beach now Big Smile  I also love that my Mom, who is stick thin, covers up when in a bathing suit but I drop my towel with pride knowing I'm a better person than she is.

    - Where do you see yourself in 5 years?  Honestly, I have no idea.  I work in the mortgage industry and like my job so I'd be ok doing the same thing in 5 years but if something else comes along I have no probably switching; I don't have a dream career in mind, as long as I am still able to pay the bills in 5 years I'm happy.  I am hoping that Jason and I are able to buy our own little house within the next 5 years and maybe get another kitten, but other than that, I don't really see too much into the future; I figure the universe will figure that out for me...so I'll let ya know in 5 years Wink

How did you and Jason meet?

We actually met online, on AOL.  He was browsing profiles in MD (I guess he was bored and just looking for someone to talk to) and noticed we liked the same type of music and were around the same age, so he IMed me.  We were both in long term relationships at the time so we just talked online.  Shortly after we both graduated from highschool, we broke up with our sig. others, and started talking on the phone all the time.  I had no interest in meeting him though because I had just gotten out of a 3 year relationship and was moving away to college so I knew I didn't want to start anything new.  6 months after I moved to college (9 months after we started talking online) I got really bored one weekend, called him up randomly and asked if he wanted to hang out.  He didn't have his license at the time (because of too many tickets, tisk tisk) and was living with my grandparents so I said I'd come pick him up ( 2 1/2 hours away from my college) and then bring him back to my dorm for the weekend.  I picked him up, took him back, and spent the entire weekend with him.  I couldn't wait to drop him back off after that first weekend because I found him kind of annoying, but the second I said goodbye, I instantly missed him, and within the first hour of my drive back, I got a call from him asking if he could see me again soon and the rest is history.

If you could have an all expense paid trip anywhere in the world with Jason for 10 days, where would you go and why?  I'd just want to take a road trip around the US.  I don't like flying or boats because I get very motion sick, so I prefer to travel by car.  I'd love to go to places like Memphis TN, Salem MA, and Niagara Falls, etc and stop at all the corky/neat little places along the way.  I'd also LOVE to do a ghost tour of all the 'most haunted' places in the US.  We're pretty down to earth people and would enjoy staying in little motels and eating at local diners more than going to a fancy resort of back packing through Europe.

What would your dream house look like, and where would it be?  It would be right outside of the city we live in now.  I've grown up here, love it, and have no desire to ever leave.  My dream house would be an older house, modest size (2-3 bedrooms), with a small piece of land (Jason enjoys doing yard work) and a nice front porch.  We've both agreed that a nice size front porch is #1 on our list when it comes time for us to start looking to buy.  Something like this would be perfect.

    image

What is your least favorite household chore? Which chore do you not really mind? I hate taking out the trash; I just think it's gross.  Luckily this is Jason's job; I don't think I've taken out the trash in over 9 months.  I don't mind cleaning up the kitchen in general because I love how it looks when it's all clean; I also don't mind dusting for this same reason.

What is your favorite board game?  Probably Candyland lol

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Mmm Pistachio.  if I can't have that then I like a chocolate/peanut butter kind.

    Xan:

Whats your favorite month?  October, it just starts to get cool here, the leaves start to change, and it has Halloween which is my favorite holiday, and now of course our anniversary.

Favorite Season?  Definitely fall...I love being able to wear a light jacket in the evenings, I love pumpkins, I love Halloween and Thanksgiving, plus my birthday is in the fall.  I love how the leaves change, I love all the color it brings, and I love the scents of fall.  It's always been my favorite.

What's the food you wish had 0 calories?  Pizza...I think I could eat pizza every single day and never get tired of it.

Favorite pair of shoes?  At the moment I have two, one is a black pair of wedge flip flops that I got at Kholes last spring; I wore the white pair for the wedding.  They are getting old looking now but are so comfy.  I also have a new pair of wedge sandles that are really comfy and cute; I posted a picture of them a while ago, they have a cork bottom and black leather straps.

What is a quote or saying you try to live your life by? "When youre struggling with something, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it's just as hard as what you're going through"

In your opinion, is there anything could you do to make yourself a better person? (I know you said earlier that you like who you are, but is there anything you wish you did better or differently?)  I'm working on trying to be a kinder person.  I feel like I used to be so sweet but over the last few years I've let the world make me kind of bitter/angry.

Shopping spree, unlimited amount, but you can only shop in one store.  What is it?  Walmart...I could get stuff for the apartment, clothes, stuff for our cars, groceries, stuff for the cats, etc... It's my one-stop-shop

If you decide to have children, what do you look forward to the most?  What is most scary?  I'd most look forward to seeing who'd they turn out like, Jason or I, or a mix of the two of us.  I'm most scared that our baby would have something wrong with it.  Jason's family has a lot of mental disability throughout it and I worry that if we had a baby and something were wrong, that I wouldn't be strong enough to handle it.  His grandmom is 77 and still raising her 50 year old son as though he were a 10 year old boy; I don't think I could do that for the rest of my life.

Is there a book and/or movie that you could watch over and over and over again and never get sick of it?  Forrest Gump or Now & Then.  I don't think there's a single book that I would want to read twice.

When was the last time you were at the Ocean?  We went to the beach for our honeymoon, so in the middle of October.  It was still 80 degrees out too, it was awesome.

What is your favorite kind of wine?  I love White Zin

Favorite book at the moment?  I don't have a favorite one at the moment, but I just finished a book I hated called "Off Season".  I guess my last 'fav' book would be "Recipes for the Perfect Marriage" (it sounds like a self help book but it isn't).

How many animals do you have? We have two cats...we each had our own cat before we moved in together.  Mine is a 3 year old boy named Bruce and Jason's is a 5 year old girl named Sweetheart (gag lol)

Do you have any tattoos?  I have 4 tattos...3 on my ankles and one on the back of my neck.

Last date night with the h? Well it was during the day but two Saturday's ago we went to lunch and the movies together which was nice.
