The june bugs/beetles are out in full force! Every window that light shines out of at night has beetles running into it - so nasty. Jenson and Chloe are out chasing after them, and of course one latched onto Jenson's jowls so he was howling and shaking trying to get it off. I'm just sick of them flying into me when I am trying to get into my house at night.
Does anyone know if it's eco-friendly/ok to kill them or treat for them - and if so... what do I do!?!
Re: Fvcking June Bugs!!
I haven't seen any junebugs, but the boxelder bugs are out in full force at our house this year, and they are much worse than in previous years. On the off chance we're referring to the same bug, here's the U's site about them. Looks like there are some treatment options.

Yeah, thankfully we don't have box elder bugs - but my parents do and they are bad at their house.

Yep - we have the same problem! They are so loud and gross that I don't dare open any windows.
Augh - I will watch to see if anyone has any advice!
There were dragonflies EVERYWHERE at the cabin last weekend. The air was thick with them. It must be mating season...? Gross.
I have found two bugs in our house with lots of long thin legs and looooong antennae. Ick. The first one was stuck to my lint roller! Haha. The second was on Boston's bed and when I squished it a few legs got left behind and they were still moving!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEK.
