Where to eat by the Capitol Building

So DH is in a concert on the Capitol steps tonight and I am thinking of going with DD. Is there anywhere close by (and kid-friendly) that we can eat a quick bite to eat? Thanks :-)

Re: Where to eat by the Capitol Building

  • Your best bet would be to check out the places on Penn Ave. There's the famous Top Chef burger joint (Good Stuff Eatery), and his new pizza place (We, The Pizza) at 3rd and Penn Ave. Not sure how family friendly it is since I haven't been there yet, though. There's La Lomita Dos (Mexican) across the street on Penn, that's fairly family friendly, as well as Cosi.

    Have fun!!

  • Good Stuff and We the Pizza are both very kid friendly and have awesome food.  I'd recommend Good Stuff over We the Pizza only because some of the pizza flavors are a little more grown up.
