On our way to work leaving our townhome development I got to the corner to turn out and there was a "sleeping" cat in the road

. Wasn't squished but just laying there just perfectly. I felt so bad it was only a few houses down from ours, but it pisses me off too because people drive so fast down on that road that something was bound to get hit.
Re: Sad this morning...
Poor kitty. Do you know who it belonged to? It is bad enough that people drive so carelessly and fast, but then to not even stop to check if it was alright, or to find its family, or at the very least to move it to the side of the road?!?!
Well in my head then I'm going to imagine that it was sleeping in the street...but it was certainly in the street and really sad that it wasn't an outdoor cat
.
That is so sad. I can't even picture my own dogs in that situation without breaking down and crying in my office.
I hit a squirrel once and cried all the way home. :-(
so sad. I hit a squirrl too and it ruined my entire weekend! Once I saw a scared bunny stuck on 94 E. I was so freaked out for it that I called 311. They snickered at me and basically said to "get over it".
