Parking at SFO

About to book our trip to Oahu for our 1 year anniversary.  We will be flying out of SFO and need recs on where to park.

Re: Parking at SFO

  • I always park at Anza parking and get the coupon off their website. Last time I went I saw the lot across the street is cheaper though.. might try it next time.
  • I think long term parking costs quite a bit (I know hourly does!), but I would google "SFO off airport parking" and there are usually some coupons that pop up. I think Travelodge and Radisson offer parking and you don't have to be a guest at the hotel either. Give yourself 2 hours or so travel time on the 101 up there, guess it depends on what day and time you leave.

  • We usually park at Park SFO (http://www.parksfo.com/). They often have coupons and are pretty reasonable.

    Ditto this.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Do you have to drive to the airport? We always just take BART. We're cheap  :-P

Another ditto. You can find 1-day free coupons on their website, but if you get on their mailing list, you'll often get 2-day free ones (with a minimum of 4 days, or something like that).

But she's in Gilroy I think. I don't think Caltrain would be as convenient to SFO as BART. We've done the Park and Fly at a nearby hotel with a shuttle to SFO when we've had an early flight. That way we don't have to travel as far in the morning and don't have to get up as early in addition to having parking.

Yeah, we're in Gilroy.  Caltrain would be a PITA.  Thanks for all the recs.
