Scam Artist's make me so mad!
(I work in a Drs office at a local hospital)
So there is this guy who comes in with a big box of candy trying to see if anyone wants to buy any, he asks staff and patients.
He came in last week and said he was raising money for the Drop Inn Center. I thought that was not a normal fundraising thing, so I called the Drop Inn Center to ask them if they were having this guy sell candy for them. They quickly told me no and that he goes all over town selling candy telling people he is selling candy to raise money for the Drop Inn Center.
Fast forward to 5 minutes ago... he came back in, another co worker came to me to ask if I wanted to buy any candy..so I go to the front desk where he is talking to a patient and ask him who he is selling candy for, he answers that he is raising money for the Drop Inn Center, so I tell him that he is lying because I called the Drop Inn Center, and tell him that he needs to leave now and to not come back here.
I know I embarassed him, but I think that he totally deserves that, and more, he is a horrible person for lying and tying to scam people by telling them that they are helping raise money for a good cause, when its really money for his stupid pocket!
I am fuming!

Great job! The story I usually hear is for a youth sports team, but it's always an adult selling them. I have no way of knowing if it's true or not, but it always seems weird to me.
