Loving my Wii

Tonight H and I stepped on the Wii for the first time since before we went to Jamaica last year.  If anyone has the Wii you know how intimidating it can be when the little guy "yells" at you.. After he told me it had been X amount of days it was time to face the music.. it was the dreaded weigh in..

Well it appears since last year I have lost 17 lbs.  if you include the pregnancy weight I've lost 38 lbs.  I still have alot more to lose but it's a nice start.

Re: Loving my Wii

  • is this the wii fit? i had considered buying it but not sure what its like.
  • yes we have the Wii fit.  The only thing i hate is the little guy.  You step on the board and he can say things like "omph" "ouch" or "great".  Then it measures your weight and tells you your BMI.  That information determines the size of your avatar.  I'm listed as obese so my avatar is huge but someone underweight is a stick figure.

I love it.  I've learned yoga, worked with my balance, and have fun with H doing something other than watching TV. We challenge each other and try to beat scores.  I am definately tired from some of it.  My fitness coach is a good one to look into.
