garden stuff, plant exchange?
My neighborhood is having a plant exchange this evening. I'm digging up a bunch of stuff to split and give away. If anyone's interested in going, let me know, and I'll put the details here.
If I don't find homes for all of my stuff, I'll let you all know. Our garden is looking really overgrown with the healthy plants.

Re: garden stuff, plant exchange?
So vague! Sorry. I'm trying to take a complete break from a lit. review for class, and my mind's pretty scattered.
I live in NE GR, it's Creston NA that's having the exchange at 6pm.
I'm dividing the following:
lily of the valley, black eyed susans, peonies, hostas, lavender, and forsythia
You have quite the green thumb. I would love to get my hands on those peonies, but I have nothing to exchange. The exchange is a great idea by the way!!
I'll give you (at least) two for nothing. I got a whole bunch of them 2 years ago from someone who was ripping out the whole bed. I ended up with ~30 plants, and I've been giving them away while figuring what I want where.
Also, if you come this way, we (and our Henrys) could meet! Send me a pm (if you're interested) about when you might be able to get them.
I have a TON of hosta that need to be divided. I can offer it up to anyone. Amy, would I just show up with containers full? I'm not sure I could honestly get it all done tonight.
Does anyone need hosta?
Erin, I didn't see this last night.
The neighborhood exchange was fun. People came with boxes and pots and bags full of iris, daylily, hens and chicks, hostas... on and on.... Willa was really excited that all of our plants went (there were some leftovers at the end, but those were taken to Briggs Park for planting). We won a prize! The kids chose a bird bath made of concrete and shaped by a hosta leaf.
For a nest exchange, let's just offer stuff here, and do giveaways independently. Does that work? Maybe next year, we have have a honest to goodness and in person get together?
Erin, I might be interested in a hosta or two, depending on what you've got. I've turned into an unintentional hosta collector, and am always happy to have different types.
I still have a zillion black eye susans and lily of the valley. Maybe a few other things too.
oh, I'm a doofus, I thought it was tonight.
lol
You're welcome anytime to come check out the hosta I have.
I too would like to offer up hosta, I just checked them out and apparently I'm great at not killing them!
GRsweetpea, if you have any peonies left, I'd take them off your hands. The husband chopped mine down last year while working in the lawn.
I've had to watch him very carefully this year, and so far he hasn't taken anything new out.
