Bill Clinton for Supreme Court!
I would love love love to see that!

Re: Bill Clinton for Supreme Court!
my read shelf:
Interesting thought. I'll have to ponder.
If he weren't already kind of old, I'd love to see Justice Allen Page from the MN Supreme Court be appointed.

I'm not into it at all.
I've always thought he should be appointed ambassador to the UN.
I could totally see that.
SC Justice, not so much for me. I just think he is/was way to much of a symbol of the Dem party to ever be taken seriously as a non-partisan.
Well, I have my super-partisian Democrat, nanny-nanny-boo-boo hat on today!

Actually...the more I think about it, the worse of an idea it becomes.
He'd have conflicts of interest on too many things. If any of the laws that he signed into place came before him to interpret, he'd have to step aside.
And, I think he was disbarred after that whole perjury thing. There's no law requiring someone to have a bar license to serve on SCOTUS (or even be a lawyer for that matter), but I think that alone would be enough of a reason to keep him from getting confirmed.
I don't see it for this reason alone. Plus, I don't think he has a judicial temperament, and I say that as a Bill Clinton fan.

Ugh, no thank you.
I'd rather see him as some kind of global ambassador of sorts working on charitable stuff.
Sounds like this board is part of that damned Factonista!
No, seriously, for all the reasons stated, I would not dig it.
um... no.
No, he's not a 1 of 9 kinda guy. He's a 1 of 1 kinda guy. Like the UN idea.
And what's with the "he's too partisan"? Like Scalia isn't? Roberts?
